"I’ve been a few times in the past few years. This was the first time since they reopened. Week 6 soft opening to be exact (per their board haha). It was a Friday night and they were busy! Packed. We were told it’d be maybe 30-40 minutes. But several people had left their name/number and never answered so I think we only waited maybe 20 minutes. Started with their jalapeño caps. Always so good. Nice and spicy. Their tap list is HUGE now. I had the Bomb. It’s a dark amazing sout. I could drink it all the time. Nice and sweet. My husband tried one he didn’t care for and then another, I don’t remember the name but I believe it was a stout by Boulevard. And it was delicious as well. I could easily hang out at their bar to have a few beers and an app. Their menu is a lot bigger than I remember. So many options. I ordered the Mac & cheese with buffalo chicken and blue cheese. Wow! Their pasta is made fresh. It was just perfect. And such a large serving. I was able to have leftovers! My husband got their burger that’s basically a brat/sausage patty with cream cheese and roasted jalapeños. I of course had a few bites….its like a jalapeño popper burger. It was fantastic. Service was great and even though they were busy our server was attentive and fast. I can’t wait to go back! Definitely going to be on my rotation."
"Update: Was there solo last night. Much better experience. Sat at the bar. The bartender was prompt, courteous, and friendly. Ordered the fish and chips sans the chips. Opted for a side salad instead. Food arrived piping hot and delicious. I wish I could remember the bartender’s name. She made the experience memorable. I was wrong to be so harsh about something which was simply a miscommunication. Schane, you do what you do out of passion. It is appreciated. Old Unfair Review: This restaurant is close to my home. I admit it was missed while being closed for renovations. My last visit there was off putting. It was for a friend’s birthday. His husband had called to alert the staff there would be a party of about twelve the next day and the time. We get it most places don’t take reservations. Seating is first come first serve. But most places take note of it. He was abruptly told they don’t take reservations but was assured the restaurant was not very busy on Saturdays. We get there and are confronted, unapologetically to a 90 minute wait and invited to go somewhere else. No apology nothing. We did leave. Not sure if I will ever come back. Not exactly the first time I have received questionable treatment there. It maybe the last."
"Decided to come here since the renovation, did not care for how dark it was. Needs more lighting and some booths would've been nice. The service was not great our server was friendly but it would take 15 to 20 minutes to get our drinks and my dirty martini came out warm. The food was pretty good I enjoyed my Dos tacos, the meat was seasoned perfectly. However the house macaroni and cheese did not have enough cheese to noodle ratio and it was extremely bland in flavor."
