"It's a tiny building (like an old sonic drive in), so there's only 5 tables inside. The cashier is really nice and the food is DELICIOUS. The portions are big. Honestly, it was the best seafood I've had in Wichita. The catfish reminds me of what you get down south in Mississippi or Louisiana. They were busy when I went, so definitely call ahead for carry out if you're in a hurry."

"Blalock is still nearly identical to the Wichita Fish Co. They have great fish for really excellent price and one of my favorite is the alligator but had a special for fried flounder that I tried this time. I wasn't familiar with flounder but 2 large whole filets were served and I was able to get the veggies instead of fries. Flounder was tasty, white, flaky meat and I enjoyed it. The dinner comes with fries, hush puppies and slaw, but I am not a cabbage fan of any sort and their fries are good but prefer veggies. Usually an upcharge but by getting rid of the rice and slaw they called it even. They're in the old Sonic at 801 N West so the indoor eating is small but they have a TV now too. There's outdoor seating as well. All in all the place is still a great hidden gem."

"New name, new location same great fish. Huge pieces of Catfish coated in corn meal or flour or one of each. Limited seating inside but lots of car parks outside with a few benches to enjoy the summer months. They have a variety of seafood items to choose from, don't want you to think they just have Catfish just one of my favorites. See ya there."

"I was excited to try scallops for the first time when I got here. They were out. Everywhere else I've been, they charge $35+ for them so for under $13 I figured it was a deal. But I ended up getting the fried pollock and shrimp. I chose the corn meal breading and didn't regret it. Even though it was basically fried popcorn shrimp, it was still better than most places. The fried Pollock was excellent. I tried the grilled salmon, and it was ok, but not a big fan of salmon. The small bite of tilapia I had was decent also. My only suggestion, is when it comes to the grilled fish, a little seasoning goes a long way. The hush puppies were my favorite part honestly. Sooo good."

"First time customer. First impression was the place is cute and pretty clean! Most tenant Sonic space takeovers are pretty gross, but not this place. I had tilapia sandwich with their homemade coleslaw, both are tasty, the meal was filling and the price is just right. We sat out front and ate, only down side was the flies started to takeover and would help if the outside trash can had a lid. I will definitely come back again and do recommend."
