"I looked at pictures on Google and the food looked good. When we walked in, there was no greeter and a sign that said seat yourself. No big deal. We walked by 4 staff members who just stared at us. Didn't greet or even acknowledge us. The lady behind the bar just continued drinking whatever she had in her cup as I said hello. The vibe was very uncomfortable. The TVs were on but no sound. It was silent. We didn't even wait for a server to come up. We just left. Probably the last time I'll ever go in there."

"Update 2/21/24 We visited around lunch hour (11:30am) and were the only ones at a booth, with another customer at the bar. The food is mediocre and the sauce bottles not all clean at the sauce bar. The chicken tenders were $2.30/ea for a 8 piece with fries. I think the entire meal was almost $18 w/o tax. For what you're getting, this is kind silly. Our server was on top of the service, but that'd be easy to do with only 3 people in the restaurant. The sauces are "ok", but the garlic parm was just garlic butter. The only chance we'll be back is if the prices were lowered, but I doubt that'll ever happen. Good luck."

"The wings and the sauce bar is why I enjoy coming here. Staff is always friendly. I really enjoy their tropical themed restaurant. They have lunch specials and daily specials as well. It’s not to well known in Wichita, but it’s definitely worth giving them a shot. Great to go catch a game, or to just hang out and eat and drink with friends."

"Update below 2/17/23 10/10. What a pleasant surprise! Our Server Brandi was incredible, we wanted for nothing. She was always 2 steps ahead. Her suggestions on point and even took the time to make our rambunctious 4yr old feel special. Coconut shrimp was delicious, as was everything else. Couldn’t find anything negative about our dining experience if we wanted. Will be back forsure! Brandi is far and away the most valuable asset this company has. It’s been a LONG time since we’ve experienced service of this caliber anywhere in Wichita. Sadly I’m having to seriously reduce their score based on our carry out order experience tonight … Street corn was a laughable portion, literally 3 bites for $5… I opened the corn at the restaurant and questioned the “host/ to-go specialist “ if this was the correct portion. He assured me it was. I asked if I could get extra sauce to dip my firecracker shrimp in, he told me that wasn’t possible and “they have plenty of sauce on them”. I arrive home with the food and discover they forgot the coconut sauce for our coconut shrimp entree. Which is the star of that meal. We upgraded to the “Bacon jalapeño cheese fries” and they forgot the bacon. We’ve had several great dine in experience’s at Hurricane. However I will NEVER attempt to get their food to go. Maybe there’s been some management changes made, if not there needs to be or this place won’t last. As I walked out with my bag of food missing items I’d paid for. There was a party of 6 standing outside the door ready to dine, they decided to call and ensure the kitchen was still open. Whatever answer they received told them to turn around. As they walked back to their cars they yelled to each other “I guess we’ll head to Buffalo Wild Wings”. My suggestion, stop letting your line staff run this place into the ground. If you’re open to a certain time then you better be willing ready and able to serve up until that time. Also the Host/ Togo person (the first face you see as you walk in) needs some training. Sitting in a booth playing on his phone is far from a warm welcome. A simple “Hi, Hello, Welcome!” Would have done wonders."
