"With all we did on the Idaho Backcountry Discovery Route, the stop in Yellow Pine, Idaho was a true highlight to the trip. Josh, the owner of the Yellow Pine General Store and Motel showed the utmost hospitality - along with the rest of the town. We stayed at the General Store Motel (Josh's rooms), and the rooms were just what we needed after some long travels. I'm rating the rooms as a 5 star because it was an experience like not other - it's not the Hilton, but it's absolutely awesome. Comfortable, clean and just a relaxing atmosphere. Food, fuel and accommodations with a personal touch is what you'll find here. Also, thanks for pointing us towards the brisket sandwich at the Corner. Yummm! Another mention, late night pizza is an option across the street - great memories."

"Great store with a new owner getting it up and running again. Has fuel as well, and 2 guest rooms. Owner is an Adventure Motorcycle Rider and will have some basic bike and camping supplies as well. Well worth the trip and a beautiful drive."
