"I ordered an acai bowl. They made it pretty quick. I got it to eat right away, and it's completely frozen solid. So how am I supposed to eat it?? Especially with a little plastic spoon!"
"I’ve been here a million times and everytime it takes workers almost ten to fifteen minutes to make one or two smoothies when I am the only one in the drive through. There is no one else inside and it takes the whole staff almost five minutes per smoothie. Smoothies are great but this is definitely not somewhere to go if you are in a rush."
"Would be an awesome addition to the area if they could pull it together. A couple of times no banana was added to my smoothie, today they were out of fruit for a side again, and there is absolutely noway they didn’t put a green banana in my smoothie just now, unfortunately I asked for extra too. Couple of weeks ago I went through the drive thru got a smoothie and despite my email saying no purchase was necessary to get a “no tricks, just treat” card; I was told those cards are saved for customers who buy food not just smoothies. Often there isn’t silverware in the bag for salads. Sometimes I get 1 dressing cup for salads other times I get 2. I finally asked how many are suppose to come with the salad and both people didn’t know; the answer should be 2, 2 are needed. Would have given 1 star based on my recent experiences, however, I didn’t, since sometimes I get lucky and get all the ingredients I paid for and glimmers of decent customer service."
"UNFortunately I can’t rate 0 zero stars. The chicken they use is canned grilled chicken. I paid for extra protein (grilled chicken) there is maybe some chicken? This is not the first time my wife or family had had this kind of thing happen. Also causes diarrhea with my wife and kids. But we’ve tried a few times to be fair. And nope. They won’t even refund me my money back. They just take my name and number and say a manager will call me tomorrow."
"I’ve waited over a year for this location to open up! I love that it’s a healthy and quick option for when I am in a rush but don’t want to get fast food. They had a great recommendation for smoothies! I got the Kiwi Quencher and can recommend it if you like something sweet and refreshing. Food was super fresh too! I got the sweet potatoes and they came out HOT. So happy to have a Tropical Smoothie Cafe in Wichita and excited to try everything on the menu!"
