"The food was good, the burgers were juicy. The fries left a little to be desired, but there were plenty and they had a nice crispy texture. The service was fine. The atmosphere leaves something to be desired, although it did look like they were trying to update it. I would eat here again."

"Our family was traveling through. We made a phone call from a distance away so we could order our food to go on our road trip. I asked to hear what’s on the menu and the lady who answered the phone was very rude. She rattled off like three things from the menu. I asked if that was all. She said “No, I just don’t have time to go through the menu right now.” I made a phone call to the Hitchin Post down the street. They were happy to read off their entire menu, and whip us up a meal no hesitation! Poor customer service at JD’s and I’ve never even stepped a foot in the restaurant, and probably never will if we are in the Hoxie area again."

"Only one waitress, she did her best. We had a large family group. All of the food was cooked way to long. If you can not prepare an item like it says on the menu...do not serve it!! Chicken fried steak in a bun is not the same without mashed potatoes and gravy..no way. Forgot....bathrooms really really needed some attention..my wife had to use her plumbing skills to turn on the sink water..floors were sticky..."
