China Buffet

"The food was good. Good variety. The place itself is very clean. Everything is clean and it seems like they care a lot about sanitation which I appreciate. Good variety of protein, carbs and even dessert."

"It’s rare to find a restaurant truly deserving of 5 stars, especially a buffet, but I just can’t get enough of this place. Unfortunately for me, it’s an hour away, and there’s not much else to do in that town, so I rarely get the chance to eat there. But never before have I found a buffet that serves salmon, and high quality salmon at that. The selection has a very wide variety of Chinese foods to sink your teeth into, but I always get too full before being able to try it all. I can’t really think of any negative things to say about this place, except for the fact the ladles to get soup and sauce are too long. It’s awkward to get it into your bowl without making a mess because of the glass guards. You have to angle the ladle to maneuver it out of the pot, which can cause spills if you filled it up too much. Other than that, this is probably one of the best buffets I’ve ever been to, and I can’t recommend it enough. If you’re on a long trip, take some time to fill up here. The great thing about buffets is that you don’t really need dinner if you eat enough. If I remember right it’s around $13-15 a person, and that’s a steal. Unfortunately I don’t have a picture to share this time around, but I’ll be sure to get one when I return there next week. Update: Next week has come around, here are the pictures. This time they also had stuffed mushrooms, which they didn’t have last time around. They were great."

"What an AWESOME buffet! The buffet contains not only a wide variety of Chinese dishes but a large assortment of fruit and desserts! There are a couple of seafood dishes (including sauteed shrimp and crab, baked seafood and mussels on the half shell). Choose from either hot and sour soup or egg drop soup. In addition to a large number of main dishes such as chicken (with broccoli, Indian style, grilled, sweet and sour, lo mein, etc.) and beef (with peppers, stir fried, etc.), there are many appetizers to choose from (spring and egg rolls, sauteed mushrooms, crispy noodles, sesame balls, spicy garlic meatballs, etc.) For afterwards, there is watermelon, canned peaches and mandarin oranges, orange slices, tapioca pudding and jello. Before leaving I was introduced to the owner, Helen. A very pleasant women who was also right in the thick.of it helping alongside her staff. Without any reservations, I highly recommend China Buffet!"

"Purely amazing. I haven’t been to a Chinese buffet in years, and no better place to go to break that streak than THE China Buffet. Was truly wondrous, my taste buds have never felt such glory. Even my fortune cookie knew what was up, for my fortune was “Tonight will be a lucky night.” Well, it sure was, because I happened to stumble across the China Buffet tonight."

"Tried this for the first time and honestly the atmosphere was wonderful. The chicken was soggy but the noodles where super delicious. I know old truck drivers that would come here and support these businesses for many years. To see them try to kick them away is sad and kinda funny because they absolutely won't stop coming here."
