"Rude cashier. Completely unnecessarily profiling customers who don't fit the "Fred Myer customer stereotype". Asked directions and got stared at like I was an idiot. Older man who works at front end self checkout on 3/13/24 8:30ish pm was the one who profiled and was rude and acted like I had no right to be there. Someone needs to coach him or give him a warning of some kind to be nice or at least decent to all customers regardless of skin color or LGBT identity."

"Absolutely disgusted with the customer service at this store. I called about the return policy without the receipt, was told one thing over the phone and was treated another way and pretty much called a liar by their customer service representative. Was absolutely no help and was discouraged by the treatment a customer was given. Being a prior employee of this company and absolutely loved it when worked for them is absolutely disgusted as a current customer no longer going to use their store they do not honor or respect their policies they go above one another and not honor what the other employee says, wasted my time & gas driving out to their store to be treated the way they treated me. I guess the customer isn't always right in their eyes."

"I recently moved my son from Maple Valley WA, to Spokane WA, He had absolutely nothing so we went to the local Fred Meyers, so I could buy him some things for his new apartment. We arrived shortly before 10pm and was greeted at the door by an employee that rudely informed me that the store closes at 10pm and anyone not in line to be checked out by 10pm sharp would simply be turned away and would have to come back another day. I was very surprised since my Local Fred Meyers closes at 11pm like every other Fred Meyers I’ve ever been to. A few minutes later I hear over the intercom to get in line for check out by 10pm. To my absolute surprise at 10pm exactly employees were at the back of the checkout lines and telling the people getting in line behind them that they had to come back tomorrow or another day. I couldn’t believe it, I also tried to use the restroom and was told the restrooms were closed to the public. I have always shopped at Fred Meyers and never felt like my business wasn’t wanted and they couldn’t care less if I came back or not. Very disappointed with my experience here, If I lived in Spokane, Fred Meyers would no longer be my go to place for shopping. The employees here need to be retrained in customer service and remember the shoppers keep them employed. No customers no jobs. Get it together guys. I’m coming for a visit soon to see my son and will stop by. hopefully I have a better experience and can update this review with something positive!!"

"Hardly ever get out here because other grocery stores are closer. This place is HUGE and has everything. I was impressed by their produce. The last that checked me out in line was super friendly and helpful. Prices were pretty good too. Wish this place was closer."

"Fred Meyer sure has taken the cake when it comes to one stop shopping. The signs that they provide help walk you through the store and allow you a very pleasant shopping experience.... if you can't find something just look up, they will have a sign right above the department that you're looking for. Wonderful place to shop"
