"Found this whole passing through Burlington. This is just plain home cooking. Clean, cooked to order and reasonably fast. The pork tenderloin was ample and tender, served with fresh cut fries. Eggs done right with a choice of ham, bacon or sausage, toast (white, wheat, sourdough or raisin), English muffin, or pancakes. Good coffee. Homemade pies!! Inside the VFW, open to the public. Look for the helicopter out front!!"

"We stopped in From vacation. There are not very many options for a long time in the area. The outside was inviting with the helicopter out front. They had prime rib and ri. No for the specials. We chose to split the prime rib. I thought it looked like a ribeye with prime seasoning . Another special was the cheesy vegetable. I’m sure they took canned broccoli cheese soup and added carrots, cauliflower and zucchini, but it was my favorite of the meal. I left the sweet potato fries uneaten. They were limp and soggy. The hubs mashed potatoes and gravy were tasty. I wish I had gotten those instead. The margarita was perfect and as well, the California Bull cocktail. Nicole was our waitress and she was very attentive to our needs"
