"Got a flash design tattooed by Eryka at one of their tattoo charity fundraisers. I definitely don’t go to something like that expecting to get the highest quality tattoo in the world, but there is at least a bare minimum expectation. The “Raven” that I got (if you can even call this a Raven) is unbelievably ugly. Not only are the lines blown out after healing, but the lines are scarred and raised. The shading is terribly done. It just looks like a black blob on my arm, and the amount of times I have had to answer the “what even is that?” question is ridiculous. I added the nevermore line below it just to try to make it more recognizable as a raven, and even that isn’t enough for people to know what it is without asking. I’m now pursuing tattoo removal because I hate this tattoo so much. It is a real shame that the artists at this shop would willingly give someone a scarred up, blown out blob of a tattoo. I definitely don’t recommend going here, especially not with all the other good shops in the area (go to Born Weird tattoo if you want something that will actually be done well!)."

"Repeatedly tried to make an appointment with an apprentice, who agreed to tattoo me, and said he would get me a design a couple different times just for him to continually not respond for long periods of time. Frequently while waiting for responses he would be posting to DM to book a tattoo. I understand if an artist isn’t interested in a piece, but think the professional thing would be to decline instead of continually promise to proceed. I will continue going to other shops in the valley."

"got a tattoo from an apprentice there and on my way out i scheduled an appointment to get another one from him. the next day i reached out and sent reference photos for the design i was thinking of getting, and a week later he sent me a design that was essentially nothing like the references i sent, so i told him i would rather just go with something else because i didn’t really want to keep changing the design as it seemed like he just didn’t get the concept. he then opened my message and left me on delivered for 2 weeks. the day before my appointment i reached out to confirm that i was still even on the schedule and he never responded so i didn’t show up because i wasn’t about to waste more of my time and the next day i saw he posted that he did 2 tattoos that day, at the time that i was supposed to have been there. super unprofessional, i will not be back"

"At this point, I just want my money back. Bought a gift card LAST December and still, can’t get on her book. She reschedules every single time, or just doesn’t show up. Buyer beware. This shop needs to be shut down for fraud!"

"I was blown away by my experience at Erykane (now Level Up). I have now had work done by Alex and Eryka and not only are they gifted artists, but super chill and easy to talk to. When you are spending hours with someone driving a needle into your skin, it sure helps if they are easy to get along with! The shop itself is awesome. Classic arcade games kept my wife entertained while she waited her turn. The shop is clean and they obviously place cleanliness and equipment sterility as a top priority, which is not something that should be considered as a given for tattoo shops in Idaho. I am itching to get in for my next piece and can't wait to see these guys again! Pictured is Eryka's work based on a song by reggae band The Movement, as well as a video of Joshua Swain, the band's frontman, taking photos of her work! He said it was the most dope Movement tattoo he had ever seen and posted it to their social media. Alex put a matching bee in black and white on my wife. Such a fun night with those guys at their shop!"
