"We have used Dan from Value Heating several times now. He truly stands above the others when it comes to professionalism and pride in his work. Our first encounter was when we were almost ready to pay over $10k for a new furnace system to a big name place but we were referred to him for a second opinion. He came out looked at the system and told us that he can fix the defective component for less than $100. He told us to use the system for as long as possible and not waste the money. It takes someone who is a real professional to know the heating system intimately and be able to fix the real issue instead of just selling an expensive system to a customer. Another recent event when we had a warning light come on and the heat was not working, we called him and he walked us through how to fix the system. He didn't even charge us. "I sent the same message to 20 different HVAC companies. That message was akin to "I need a thermostat that does not require the eyes of a hawk nor an advanced degree in computer programming." Of the 20, 12 did not even respond. Of those that did respond, most clearly did not understand the message and merely suggested installing a more advanced control device than I already had. Dan was the only one that clearly understood the message. Dan was also one of the first to respond. He knew exactly what I was looking for.
