"I was in last Sunday to start my sleeve. Ryan did my first sleeve and it was awesome. I wanted him to do the other arm. There is always excitement and a little bit of anxiety with someone trying to read your mind, and make a design that suits the canvas. Ryan has always blown me away with his art. Everytime he shows me the sketch I can't get him to put in on fast enough. Ryan is a great and I can't wait to finish this arm. There are several artists here as well. They all have incredible art on the wall by them as well as great portfolios for their tattoo work. Any artist in this shop will give you a great piece!"
"I have been getting tattooed here for almost 5 years now and Ryan has done all of my tattoos, the atmosphere is great. Every one of the artists are so nice and welcoming it’s truly a treat to go in and see everyone! Ryan has given me so many beautiful tattoos I get compliments every day for the work he has done, I could not be happier with the tattoos I have because of him, and he has always made me feel comfortable and heard, I give him a tiny idea and he turns it into a masterpiece! I could not have found a better artist anywhere else!"
"I just started my big piece, which was done by Ryan! It needs a few more sessions, the photos don't do it justice (I am terrible at taking photos of tattoos) but I couldn't be happier! Everyone I told/showed my tattoo too was amazed! Definitely coming back and recommend Ryan and the other artists too. It's a great vibe and everyone is really respectful and funny. Extra props to Ryan for making sure I was comfortable and not in pain. When it got too much, he gave me some pain numbing stuff and it worked wonders :) My tattoo is the statue of David by Michaelangelo with a skull in between that looks like it's being uncovered:)"
"I, like the previous person who was excited and stoked to get a tattoo from Ryan had the same experience. I was driving from out of town because we don't have many good artists. Scheduled weeks out, showed him what I wanted, when I got there, he had something completly different drawn up. His portfolio was good, but his additude and rudeness wasn't. No one should settle for a tattoo by someone who is more concerned with their name (brand) Than what is being put on a clients body forever. Noone. We are not just canvases we are ppl. I took my 560.00 and went elsewhere. Long drive for nothing. Oh well."
"I lost my tattoo artist to cancer this last year. She always made me feel so comfortable. Eventually like family even. Looking for a new artist, I went with Ryan because his work looked really good and the shop came highly recommended. I heard Gus was an amazing artist and that the shop was overall great. Seemed legit. Provided ideas with some images via email to Ryan as we live in different towns. He was super friendly over email. When I showed up I was so stoked to get my work done. I've not stopped talking about it for weeks. He shows me the images and they looked amazing. Honestly, it was so good. I mention one little thing I'd like adjusted (a name to a date instead) and he begins to seriously scold me for not telling him ahead of time. He never sent the stencil so I didn't know that he had even finalized something or had planned lettering. In the past, I've had conversations with artists whilst at their shops as we put the pieces together. As he's scolding me, I thought he was surely kidding. I was waiting for him to start laughing or something. I actually could not imagine that he was being that rude to someone who was getting ready to trust him to tattoo their body for 450 bucks ?plus tip. He wasn't kidding. He made that abundantly clear. To summarize; beware. Artistic ability is so important but not less important than connecting with and allowing your clients to feel trusted and safe in your presence. I left the shop with no tattoos. A couple hundred dollars of accommodations in Spokane waisted for nothing. Shocked and super bummed. All this would have taken for it to be ok was for him to say... oh, no problem, that's an easy fix. Have a seat, get comfortable while I make that quick fix... can I grab you a water? How was your trip over? Are you excited? I'm stoked to work with you..., all of those options would have been super."
