"I had a new top put on my Edsel from another shop in Nampa ID. They did a lousy job. I couldnt believe what I was seeing. Chip was recommended by another Edsel Club Member, so I called him, brought the car down, and we went over all the mistakes. What a mess it was. I left the car with Chip for a couple of days to do his magic, and boy, did he. My car is beautiful again!! "My Porsche Cabriolet’s convertible top was not sealing fully. Drove in looking to make an appointment and was greeted by Chris. He took a look at the problem, stopped work that he was doing, and told me to pull up to the 2nd bay. He fired up an industrial steamer, and within 15 minutes, had smoothed out the material binding that was causing the problem. When asked how much I owed him, he said it was FREE (I gave him a $20 anyway, just to buy a case of beer). GREAT ATTITUDE, GREAT SERVICE and most important, GREAT JOB! Couldn’t recommend these guys any higher!!!"

I was provided a quote on the phone and when I showed up to have them look the car over and select a color for the new top, Chip told me that since we had talked he had found the same top for a cheaper price, which reduced the original quote. He could have easily left the quote for the original amount and made more profit by not saying anything about finding a cheaper price for the top.
