Reviews of Valley Power Sports
"Well stocked with reasonable prices. Staff is very professional and friendly. Definitely worth a stop if you are in the Silver Valley."
"These folks saved my day, delivering me a tire patch kit on the shoulder of I-90 with a punctured flat tire on my motorcycle just a mile or two from their shop. Brought it to me and explained how to use it. Literally saved my day."
"Put a deposit down on a snowmobile at their sandpoint sister branch in August, was promised October, about the time October came around I called and was told it would be February, that's too late for us as we use snowmobiles as our main form of winter transportation off grid. Ended up calling the pinehurst branch and they had one they said would be delivered Thursday that same week. Great! Put a deposit down on this snowmobile. Get a call, the snowmobile arrived at the dealer missing half it's parts. They have no idea when parts will arrive, but tell me it generally doesn't take too long. I go ahead and apply for financing anyway hoping for the best. A month and a half goes by, I get a call from the dealer, I'm hopeful that it's them calling to let me know that the sled is finally together. Instead it's them wanting me to finalize the paper work and start making payments on a sled that is not in my possession, and is missing half of its parts. I asked if they at least knew when it would be ready, they had no clue. While the staff was friendly enough, the service was a complete disaster. No communication, and selling nothing but false promises. Thanks to them leading me on, me and my family are now having to climb our steep 1/4 mile driveway in deep snow. I'll probably have to buy a used sled and hope for the best. I think it is no exaggeration to say this is one of the worst companies I've had the displeasure of not doing business with."
"If you have any warranty work to be done, good luck. The lady I talked with in their warranty department doesn’t care about your situation or needs and they will always side with can-am. She was very terse with every answer she gave and I was barely able to get a word in to explain what I needed."
"Bought an $18k 2017 Can-Am Commander. People were nice, friendly, and helpful. Days after taking it home, the door started to sag and the plug for the snow plow attachment disintegrated when I touched it. Called, but due to the weather, I was unable to take it to them to have them fix it. When the weather cleared up, I took it down, and the next day I got a phone call where they told me Can-Am was trying to blame me for their faulty hinges. They tried to pull a, driving down the road with the door open caused the hinge to fail. Yeah, that sounds plausible in low 20's to mid 40's weather. Valley Power Sports got Can-Am to cover it, but then the people at Valley Power Sports told me the disintegrated plug was one of the problems they have had. The problem I have is that Valley Power Sports knew the plug was poor and still sold me something without telling me the known problems they have had with it. They also did not tell me that an in cab heater would not be necessary because the engine put off enough heat to keep anyone warm inside the cab. Never even turned that heater on once, and it was a complete waste of money. I seriously questioned the entire sale and find the whole purchase to be a regret on my part, from the manufacturer to the store I bought it at."
