Reviews of Woodcraft of Spokane
"Exceptional Service and Support at WoodCraft of Spokane From my very first visit to WoodCraft of Spokane back in June, I was enveloped in an atmosphere of unparalleled service and support, chiefly by the Store Manager, David, and the remarkable team member, Nic. Embarking on a mission to write a grant for lathes and other essential tools for my class, I was somewhat at sea, given my limited woodworking knowledge. David, with his vast expertise and boundless patience, not only guided me through the store, illuminating the functionalities and benefits of various tools, but also recommended classes at WoodCraft that significantly bolstered my understanding and proposal. With David's expert advice, I successfully secured almost $9,000 from the grant. This victory was just the beginning. When challenges arose with the grant money, David and Nic were right there, navigating through the issues with grace and professionalism. Their dedication to exceptional customer service shone brightly through these interactions. Nic's genuine warmth and personal interest in my woodworking journey transform every visit into a homecoming. She greets me by name, expresses genuine interest in my classes and projects, and diligently notifies me about grant-related items arriving in store. This personalized care makes every interaction with her truly special. David, too, always recognizes me with a friendly greeting by name, reinforcing the welcoming community spirit of WoodCraft. His deep knowledge and enthusiasm for woodworking have been pivotal, not only in assisting with the grant but also in advancing my skills. I participated in several enriching classes, including a fantastic Pen Turning class and a thorough Safety class. The Bowl Turning class, expertly led by David, was particularly enlightening, providing me with valuable insights and safety practices to bring back to my middle school STEM class at Woodland Middle School. Importantly, the nearly $9,000 grant was judiciously spent at WoodCraft, purchasing incredibly well-built machines and tools that have been instrumental in enhancing the quality and scope of my woodworking projects. This investment in top-notch equipment from WoodCraft has not only facilitated my teaching but also enriched the learning experience of my students. In summary, my experiences at WoodCraft of Spokane have been nothing short of extraordinary, thanks to the steadfast support, profound expertise, and heartfelt care from David, Nic, and the entire team. They've equipped me with the necessary tools, knowledge, and passion for woodworking, extending well beyond the confines of the store. For anyone with an interest in woodworking, regardless of skill level, WoodCraft of Spokane is the quintessential destination, celebrated for its professionalism, passion, and peerless customer service."
"Would have given 5 start, except for the fact it was extremely warm and had to leave the building. Outside of that, the building was clean and orderly. Will try and shop again at a later date. Next visit: Store temperature was comfortable. Store was still clean and the employees were cheerful and friendly. Had plenty of products on hand."
"Took an amazing class and can't wait to go again"
"I wish to apologize for coming into the store yesterday and bothering what I assumed were salespeople on the floor. When I asked a question of what I assumed was a salesperson and got no help telling me where an item was and walked away leaving me to find the item myself. This is the second time in about 2 months that I have received what I consider poor service. (Considering how it was when Rosemary and Nick ran the store) Since I am not a baseball player I am not giving this store three strikes. There are other stores in Spokane and through COVID I learned to order on line. GOOD BYE"
"Love this woodcraft. Excellent selection of dimensioned and quarter sawn exotics and domestics. Tools, equipment. From iwasaki files to jet lathes."
