"I have a major fear of dentists, Serinity dental has changed that for me. David Welton DDS is absolutely amazing and the staff is very kind and makes you feel comfortable. I would recommend Serinity Dental to anyone."
"AVOID AVOID AVOID! Dr. Welton botched a molar root canal that’s resulted in an infection threatening the tooth of an otherwise healthy young man and performed a very questionable and painful wisdom tooth extraction. 0/5 stars. More details: My 17 year old son was referred to Dr. Welton by his primary dentist for a molar root canal on a back molar two years ago. The visit was exceptionally strange. I had to tell them multiple times which tooth it was (despite the tooth in need having a cusp broken off). The demeanor of the doctor and staff was uncomfortably casual. And the doctor decided to go ahead and pull out my son’s wisdom tooth adjacent to the root canal “because it needs to come out anyway”. He removed it while my son was awake and in extreme pain. It then took more than a week for the pain to be managed without narcotics (Compared to just 2 or 3 days when he had his other three removed by a different dentist). Fast forward two years later and my son’s new dentist just discovered the roots were not properly cleaned or properly filled (the material pushed out the bottom of the roots and isn’t fully filling the canal) during the root canal and he has an infection under the tooth sitting just above a major nerve that runs along the lower jaw. He’s facing potentially needing to having the tooth extracted and an implant put in to the tune of several thousand dollars. All because of this botched root canal. Very disappointed his previous dentist missed something so critical (after seeing it on the film no idea how a professional could miss that), but extremely grateful his new dentist caught it before it got any worse. TLDR: Botched root canal. Bizarre spur of the moment wisdom tooth extraction. Unprofessional. 0/5 stars. Do not recommend."
"Dont go here if you have a lot of work that needs done!! He will make you feel bad about it and cancel all your appointments when one small thing happens. Best thing about this office is all the girls that work here. The dentist lacks empathy and understanding. I have many cavities due to not being taken to a dentist my whole childhood. When I turned 18 I decided to change that. I fought a lot to find a dentist that didn't scare me or cause me pain. Well every appointment the dentist seemed shocked and made comments like "wow you have a lot of cavities" and just really hurtful back handed remarks about my teeth. The last straw was I raised my hand(like I was told to do) for some pain I was experiencing. He seemed annoyed I was in pain and after my appointment he fired me as a patient and told me to go somewhere else because he couldn't manage my pain and it was taking too long to finish my mouth. Overall just a very hurtful experience."
"I hate dental work it sucks, but these lovely professionals completely changed my outlook. I had to have a root canal done and was pretty nervous. Been going through a lot of dental work this year and the root canal was the grand finale. Everyone always says they hurt and this and that. I can assure you this procedure was by far and away the best experience thus far. 10/10 would recommend."
"I like this place and have found my place to go when needing any dental work and check ups done. I've waited over a decade to get my wisdom teeth removed and I finally did it here. I told them how long it's been because frankly I was scared to go. They talked and walked me through everything and definitely brought my anxiety down. I was prescribed everything I needed for a smooth procedure and also a smooth recovery. I called so them many times leading up to my extraction day and they were always nice and helpful. I was just sitting in the chair during with not a care in the world. I didn't feel anything besides a little pressure here and there. It went by so quick with no complications or pain. The healing was fast and not much pain either. They have TV's you can watch in the ceilings when you lay back in the chairs. I also loved the waiting room it's so peaceful. It has a massage chair, a waterfall and a coffee and water station so waiting was nice. Also they called me back exactly at my scheduled time all times I went that was a plus. Setting up an appointment on the phone and in the office was easy and fast. They accept lots of insurance plans including Medicaid."
