"$10 to launder one long-sleeve cotton men's dress shirt when they include a "stain fee" and a "starch fee"? Total ripoff. I might not take a shirt there at all if it didn't have a stain on it."

"My wedding dress got dropped off on September 21st and I was given a receipt for pick up on November 21st. Two months is a long time for a simple cleaning, as it only had a few marks and a dirty hem, but fine. Later, I asked for a price, as they told me when I dropped it off that they couldn't give me an estimate, and they told me it could be anywhere from $300 to over $1000! I called again in November and they gave me no clear answer on pricing. I never got a notification to pick up my dress for November and in mid-December, I had to call them myself. The person almost couldn't find my dress and when I asked if it was clean yet, they seemed very dodgy and hesitant, telling me it was still being worked on. I yet again asked for price, and again no clear answer. When I went in the next day to demand my dress back, they said it was mid-wash still and insinuated that it was probably because I gave it to them overly stained. At this point, it had been three months, one month of which was over the due date. When I kept pushing, they also told me the due date on the reciept wasnt a due date at all, just an estimate they didn't have to meet. At the end, I was told I would be put on priority and that it needed one more wash, being finished in the next few days. I waited ten more business days and got no call. I went in again and they said it still needed steamed and to come back in another week, as "steaming takes a long time." Which is ridiculous. I got the dress back later that day and it is clean, but the service overall was horrible. It was clear they just forgot my dress in the back. The reciept with my dress says they only spent a total of two hours cleaning my dress. I know that drying times are probably another few hours, but that little amount of labor for over three months of it sitting there, plus the fact that I had to basically bully them into finishing an important item, is ridiculous. I also washed my husband's suit here, and the neckline was still yellow as if it wasn't touched. I never complained about it and I trusted them again, which was a mistake."

"Ordered a service to have 4 blankets washed, the estimated time was for two weeks. After two weeks had past, it took another week and a half till my items were done. I picked up my items today, only to find a substance all over the bags that came with my blankets. The substance reeked of grease and heavy duty chemicals that is currently creating an odor in my room and my car, that I can not air out. Overall, really unsatisfied for paying the premium service, with the 1.5 week delay, and the chemicals on items."

"Just had my favorite wool coat cleaned, and it looks almost new again! Not only did they get a year's worth of dirt out, but they got all the dog hair off of it that I could NOT get off at home. Super happy with how it turned out and how quickly they had it done!"

"I recently came to Western Laundry to clean an object that they were not acquainted with (a Japanese Futon). They kept open communication and started with a test run to see if they could clean it and gave alternatives if they were not able to. They took very good care of it and followed the research recommendations on how they clean them in Japan. Overall I absolutely loved my experience with them and will continue to go to them in the future for any of my cleaning needs!"
