"I want to start off by saying I'm sure Dr. Muelleman has helped a lot of people with their ear issues. And I can't speak to his knowledge. I just know I did not really enjoy my time with him. I've been dealing with ear pain for a long time. It's excruciating pain (luckily only intermittent). But consistent pain behind the ears. I also have sensorineural hearing loss bilaterally. He looked in my ears. And proceeded to tell me he thinks my issue isn't an ear issue. Which is fine. But given I also have hearing loss you'd think maybe some imaging or further testing could be recommended. He also told me it's good he can't find anything. My husband said why is that good. And instead of just saying well it means I don't see anything serious. He proceeded to go on about how his other patients have cancer and real issues etc. Which yes. I'm not a child. I'm aware it's good I don't have cancer or something of that nature in my ears. But I felt he was belitting my issues- and was a bit condescending. He also couldn't tell me what the issue was and just rattled off a few things. And tried suggesting maybe I'm feeling pressure and not pain. As if I don't know the difference. It's not light pain. I said. Excruciating pain. To the point I start crying. I just felt very dismissed- regardless of wether he thought it was an ear problem or not. I'll be getting a second opinion."

"Dr. Muelleman is wonderful! I have not been able to hear from my right ear for most of my adult life. When I went to see Dr. Muelleman, I I went for the purpose of discussing hearing aids. When he told me there was a chance that I could possibly hear again with surgery, I just could not believe it. I went forward with his plan, and did have the surgery he recommended. Now I have my hearing back in my right ear and it is so wonderful to be a part of conversations again!! I still can’t believe it!! Dr. Muelleman also has an exceptional staff working with him. They are always so kind and understanding. Thanks to all of you more than I can say!!!"
