"Had an infection in my knee joint. Surgery was on thursday, I and D drainage performed. It was a holiday weekend so Efird was on vac I assume. Saturday came and my leg and knee got really hot, red, and swollen. Under the drs orders nurses couldnt touch the bandages. I begged them to at least check it, they said Efird would get upset because NOBODY unwraps his work but him. I had to check myself out in fear of losing my leg. When I got home I removed the bandages and the iodoform packing and OMG!!! PUSS, BLOOD, FLUID, AND CHUNKS of dissolved flesh poured out of the wound for 5 minutes. A good 18 inch diameter puddle . I believe id lost my leg if i hadnt went home. Be careful for a jocks ego, its more important than your health."
