"Dr. Wejinya is a great specialist. She listens and has great bedside manner. She and her staff are proactive in their follow up, details about medical history, etc. I am so thankful we have a physician with this level of experience and expertise in NWA."
"The staff behind the desk do not know what they are doing. It took over an hour for the doctor to initially enter the room. 5 stars to the nurse. She was fantastic."
"The staff is ok. They could be better. Communication skills within the building would be fantastic (instead of hearing three different things about the allergy shot). 1. I was told EpiPens were at the office I didn't need one 2. If I did infact need one, why didn't I get prescribed an EpiPen for my son the same day he was prescribed a new inhaler? 3. I was told for the shot you have to wait 30 minutes, and then told 20 minutes 4. I wasn't told until first round of shots, that allergy medicine needed to be taken 30 minutes prior It would also be great if they got a hold of the person for a payment sooner, rather than day of payment. I got a call saying "hey we don't have a card on file" even though I set up an auto-payment before my son started his allergy shot. It took 20 minutes. If the card didn't save within those 20 minites, why didn't I receive a call the next day? Or the 4 other times I came in with my son once a week for his shot? Or not explaining "hey if you don't pay today, we are disabling the check-in card, until you pay" a lot of details are left out. Unfortunately my line of work sometimes doesn't allow me to just drop everything I'm doing that very second, to read off numbers from a card. It would also be fantastic to not feel like I'm in the wrong, whenever you all are the ones that can't communicate/messed up. I think with better communication skills it will benefit in the long run."
"I was treated very rudely by the director at this clinic over the phone today. I have called multiple times to set up my children’s appointments, they never answer the phone or return phone calls. I left yet another voicemail stating my Children’s names and that I would appreciate a returned call regarding setting them up a new patient appointment. I explained that I had left multiple voicemails over the past few months without any response from their office, I also stated that if I couldn’t get a returned call then I would need to speak with the office manager to file a complaint. Let’s face it, months without a returned call is beyond frustrating and NOBODY ever answers the phone when I call. The gentleman called my right back after making an appointment and proceeded to tell me that I better never talk to his staff like that again while leaving a voicemail! I explained that I hadn’t disrespected anyone by leaving the voicemail that I left, he then insinuated that I was a liar and that they had not received any calls from me.. I also explained that I had sent messages through the patient portal and yet he still insinuated that I was lying. I told him I could provide call records from my phone showing otherwise, he then became loud with me and stated that wasn’t necessary, but proceeded to defend his STAFF for not doing their job. I told him that if this is how they run their clinic I wanted no part of it and that I think my children would be better off seeing someone else whom actually puts their patients first, of course that mad him upset and he then agreed that my children should not be seen in his clinic! SO parents beware taking your kids here, they are not professional at all."
"Our daughter was seen here in 2022. They suspected asthma but did not give an official diagnosis. They told us to do a follow-up appt in May 2023. We did, unfortunately, miss that appointment. We had to cancel but we rescheduled--the earliest they could get us in was Aug 2023. Over the summer, my daughter was hospitalized with SEVERE asthma. So I thought we would have a lot to discuss at her Aug appt. But we were treated as an inconvenience. Our concerns about her hospitalization were dismissed. And they acted genuinely puzzled as to why we were even there."
