"This is a puppy mill. Puppies should not be raised in cages. They miss critical socialization. Any “breeder” that sells multiple breeds or mixes breeds is not a breeder, they are a puppy mill. This breeder also breeds dogs with genetic health issues. Good breeders will also NEVER ship dogs. Please do your research on what constitutes as a good breeder before buying a dog."

"We drove from Michigan to pick up Abby and Heartsy (one for us and one for my Mom, they are sisters). We were worried about shipping them due to possible turbulance/heat/stress. They did very well on the way home, a 14 hr trip turned into 16hr as we had to stop more often for them to play and potty. The following day we took the girls to our Vet and they checked out healthy. We've had them almost 5 months and they they are still happy and healthy. They are very intellegent for their age, easily trained and became instant friends with both our Rottweilers and our fox terrier mix. Shes always playing with our son (it became appearant that they were buddies right from the start). My Moms little girl is the same way with their pets and our kids. We couldn't be happier with her. "We purchased a Yorkie from Wilkin's Kountry Kennel and it was a very good experience initially. My puppy was up to date on all medical items, and he had final checkup with their Veterinarian before I took possession of the dog and the Vet noted that the dog was in good health. My dog has been great, and he seems healthy except one major problem. The dog has extreme knee problems with Patellar Luxation. One of his knees is permanently out of place and he barely uses it compared to the other legs. I tried to contact Cindy, the owner of this business to address my concern. I never got a response back. I was mainly asking if they are breeding dogs that have knee problems. I had constant communication prior to purchases the dog via email, but after purchase when I found out this problem I have not received a response back. I know that about 25% of Yorkie's have knee problems to different degrees of severity but my dog has a case where both of his back legs are in very poor shape. I do not know how their Veterinarian missed this problem, because mine found it out on the first visit without seeing the dog walk. I did not notice too much when he was such a small puppy, but as he has grown older, you can see how bad his legs are. He will 100% require surgery on one leg if not both. It almost makes me think that this business is breeding Yorkies with Patellar Luxation issues. I am not sure if they do not know this is an issue when having healthy puppies or they just do not care about it. The thing that annoys me most is how I tried to address my concerns and never got a response back. It has been over 2 months since I sent my original email and now I will just have to leave this review based on my experience. We paid full price for a "healthy" AKC puppy and now will have to spend several thousand more on getting surgeries. I was not asking for a refund or anything, I just wanted to know if they were breeding dogs with knee problems and if they knew better. I have to assume with my experience, my dogs’ parents have Patellar Luxation issues. I have even been asked at the dog park several times where I purchased my dog, but I cannot recommend this business based off my experience. I also feel foolish and angry when people ask what is wrong with my dog because he is limping so badly. I do not like leaving such a negative review but I feel like it's my only option at this point. I made the mistake of not going to see the dog at their house before purchasing. I thought everything was good based on my conversations with Cindy. I would advise other people to visit and maybe even get a second opinion from another Vet. As I stated earlier, I am not sure if my dogs parents had knee problems but I have to assume on my experience that something shady happened with this whole situation. We really enjoy our dog and he has a great personality but it is definitely disheartening to see a dog limp around all the time and look uncomfortable. We have to wait until he is 9 months old to have a surgery, I just hope it works out or I am really going to be angry."
