"The rice bowl was served on a plate! A total scandal :( The portions were generous, my bbq sandwich was fine, and the rice bowl was a bit too sweet (why was it sweet?). I'm guessing it'd have been a better rating if my wife got something from the American side of the menu. Anyhow, perfectly fine. If we go back it'll be in the evening instead of lunch."
"Had to come back for the mozzarella logs! Also got two burgers, regular 1/3 burger and the PB&j burger. All was so good only thing that was amis was the tots were a little under cooked and not crispy this time which was a let down but otherwise things were great. We tried this place out of suggestion by a friend and we were not disappointed. I feel the best thing was the mozzarella logs. They are phenomenal, even better than the onion! I got the fish and chips and they had very large servings, the fries were particularly seasoned and not too heavy on the seasoning, the beer battered fish was hot and fresh but really greasy. It literally fell out of the batter. My husband got the 1/3lb burger and it was pretty good he gave me half, it had a lot of cheese which I really liked . He ordered pepper jack on his burger and got cheddar instead. He got their tots and they tasted better than the fries. We ate half the burger and one fish fillet with some tots and fries and were so full. The atmosphere at the time we went around 7pm was pretty chill and quite. I didn't get a pic of our food as we hadn't eaten most of the day and we're starving lol"
"Go for the food, not the drinks. A couple friends and I went to The Bearded Ginger for dinner tonight. It was brighter than I expected, and a little chilly. But overall the atmosphere was fine (could use a little updating, but not a deal breaker). The majority of the food was pretty good though. We ordered their jalapeño poppers as an appetizer. They didn’t have a full order, just 3. So they gave us those 3 free of charge. Couldn’t complain about that. They were served with ranch and BBQ sauce. My friends decided to order a sandwich each and then share, so they could try two sandwich offerings in a single visit (I thought that was genius). They ordered the Turkey Bacon Melt and the BBQ Sammy with brisket. They were out of brisket though, so their second choice was the pulled pork. Both ordered tots as their side with ranch and tartar sauce. Their ranch was pretty good, but I was told that their tartar sauce was really good. They both liked their sandwiches and both sandwiches were stuffed with meat. I went with the BG Caesar salad. It had great flavor, but FAR too much dressing to be called a Caesar salad. Had I known it was going to be dressing heavy, I would’ve asked to have it on the side. The sirloin, cooked medium, some may say medium-well (asked for medium rare) was pretty good. It was tender and seasoned well. Due to the heavy dressing I ate the salad and saved the steak for my salad tomorrow, made at home."
"We went about 4 pm and they were busy. Only clean, available table was in the corner by the backdoor. Felt dark and drury. Service was a little slow but understandable. BBQ Crunch Wrap was amazing and enough for a midnight snack to take home! Would have ordered another beer, but the server never came back and asked until we were done and waiting for bill."
"We were getting our oil changed nearby, and this place was in walking distance. We grabbed a bite to pass time, and I'm so glad we did. We had our kid with us in his stroller and decided to sit in the outside area. It was big and comfortable outside. The waitress came right out and took our order. She was nice and the service was fast. We ordered sodas, mozzarella logs, chicken and bacon pizza, and a small side of macaroni and cheese. All I can say is WOW, everything was so good. The mozzarella logs were really big and had lots of cheese. The marinara and ranch sauce that came with the logs was great, too. I love dipping! The pizza was yum, lots of cheese and toppings. The cheese pull was top-notch, and the dough was just right. It came with two ranch cups and a parmasean and red chili flake shakers. The macaroni and cheese was also good. Lots of cheese and flavor. I love the noodles they used. Everything we ate had such good flavors. It was all hot and fresh and nicely presented. I was so excited when everything was being brought out. Drinks first, then our appetizer, and lastly, our pizza. We loved the food and vibe and will definitely go back to try other things plus the things we fell in love with already."
