"A-1 had installed a new two-zone HVAC in the house expansion we built six years ago. Ever since, A-1 has provided service and honored their warranty. Randy Thomas, the McCall office manager, has always been responsive to our needs. Because of this fine service, we enlisted A-1 to replace the furnace and air-conditioning equipment in the older part of the house. It was 24 years old and was having problems. Randy gave us quotes with options, we picked one, and his crew - Matt and Riley - showed up on time and changed out the furnace, evaporator, and condenser. They arrived on time, were courteous, professional and thorough. [They even helped me fix a troublesome lock on an access door to the equipment room.] The project took all day, as expected and promised, and they were very meticulous to assure all work was well done, and the system tested successfully. They cleaned up all debris. A-1 Heating and Air is as good as it gets. Top notch! 5-stars plus!"

"We live in McCall Idaho where every business thinks they can charge double for wealthy customers. The service guy came and flipped a switch on one of our two furnaces which reset it. Then he proceeds to tell us we need to replace both of our furnaces for about 20 thousand dollars. We say thank you and he leaves. Then, we get a bill for 258 dollars for nothing. We did call a competing service here in McCall to come out and look at our dual furnace set up. They said we needed two new PCB boards and some motors. The cost was 2 thousand dollars with labor. We hired them and everything is fine. Beware, this company will oversell you in McCall if they think you have money. This is becoming a trend in town and it will hurt businesses once the public catches on. Once this real estate bubble pops, customers will remember which companies took advantage of the public."

"This business is amazing! My parents live in New Meadows and their furnace stopped working. They had been freezing cold for over a week because they are on a small fixed income. My sister said she could cover the cost of them to get it checked out and they decided to call A1 to see if someone could come look at it. They found a technician that was able to come out the same day and got it back going for them within an hour!!
