I have RA and OA and have had several very painful joints that had deteriorated past the manageable point over the course of several years. Dr. Burns let me decide when it was too painful to handle anymore. He never pressured me into any surgery which showed respect for me. I have had both knees and hips replaced within the last several years. My recovery has progressed through his skills, help and encouragement and with physical therapy which is an integral part of recovery. Throughout the whole process, from the pre-op sessions through recovery, he and his team couldn't have been more helpful.
