"This is the most expensive coffee and food I’ve ever purchased at a simple coffee shop! Over $10 for a piece of toast with a thin smear of avocado…which was burnt and took forever (over 20 minutes). We had to change our order for dine-in to go. Music was too loud and the lighting very dark. Employees not very welcoming or friendly. Will not come back again."

"So wanted to like this place as the barista was accommodating. Ordered a macchiato and received a caramel latte. Explained I wanted a traditional macchiato and got a latte. I think barista's don't like serving so little liquid?"

Java is and has been my favorite coffee place downtown for years because their service is always above-and-beyond (thank you to Jordan in particular for always being kind & efficient), their beverages are exceptional (my fav is the bowl of soul with whipped cream), their food is delicious, and they’re really fast. Can’t go wrong with Java! "

"I was in the mood for pumpkin coffee and saw their outside sign for pumpkin latte. First time visiting. Love the vibe.They were out so I got the carmel latte insead. The best coffee I've had EVER!!! Slightly sweet, amazing flavor and not overpowering. My new favorite coffee spot."

"It’s been 10 years since my last Bowl of Soul in SV, and it is still as delicious as I remember. I knew when I was heading to Boise that Java would be a must, but I didn’t realize that the crew here would be so amazing too! The location is stunning, the employees are incredibly friendly and helpful, and the drinks and treats are divine. I went on a rainy walk around the Capitol after getting my BoS and enjoyed it to the very last drop. I won’t be waiting another 10 years before coming back this time! Thank you for a fabulous vacation morning spent exactly the way it should be!"
