"OVERVIEW: Given that the genre of breakfast food is worn out (without either killer execution on classics or new twists for new flavors), I'm happy to see this place has good offerings and a variety of departures from breakfast food. I personally feel that when a restaurant's selling point is large portions, they're replacing quality with quantity, but I'm glad to say that this is not the case here. I recommend it. FOOD: The quality is good, and the flavors can be fun. Where the restaurant shines is beyond the normal breakfast fair. My personal favorite was the biscuit French toast. That with a Blue Moon on tap was a great stop before our movie showing. The potatoes were cooked well and seasoned with what tasted like a mix of Johnny's Seasoned and Creole, which turned in a solid flavor performance. The eggs were cooked correctly to the order, and were... eggs. All of it was enjoyable fair, though the biscuit French toast is still on my mind. SERVICE: I personally like the style of service we received: very little interruption and very few words, but consistently there when a glass ran out or the eating was done. She was quite helpful in helping us understand the menu nuances, like what alternative options existed and whether they cost more or not. She was patient and knowledgeable. ATMOSPHERE: I appreciated it wasn't too loud or too quiet. It was clean and comfortable."
"This place has a sports bar vibe to it. It was very crowded when I was here. The food is outrageous! I think the novelty is in the quantity of food. A single plate covered half the table practically! I was really excited to eat here. Unfortunately the food was underwhelming. It wasn't bad though. The focus seems to be on quantity over quality. But you could save money by sharing a single plate with probably the people! A single dish is too much for one person."
"For me, the place is hit or miss. Some visits the food was great. Other visits.. not so great. My very first time coming here I'd say the potatoes were the best part. The prices weren't bad either. However, the burrito I had contained raw bacon and it was grossing me out. The most recent visit I had (dec 22/2023) wasn't the greatest either. I liked the taste of the gravy but the dish itself had chicken in it. The chicken was very spongey and had resistance like bubble gum. The service is friendly, the atmosphere is nice, but I'd be selective on certain things."
"This is predominantly a breakfast restaurant focused on pork dishes. The food was good with a solid variety of options to choose from. I chose the asada burrito which was very good. The home fries were good but dense. If you want to be full come here, the portions are huge."
"Ordered the Hog. Great presentation and large portions. Biscuits were very nice but the gravy had very little taste. Added a ton of salt and pepper plus hot sauce to the gravy to give it some taste. Potatoes were excellent with great taste. Bacon had a good sweet taste but wasn’t crispy. Just needed a few more minutes. Overall good breakfast but wouldn’t rate a 5. Would eat here again."
