"Literally love coming here when it’s slower at night. One of the few places open later on weekdays. The bartender is so accommodating and kind, giving my husband the 3 cokes and 1 shot of rum to split between his drinks for his rum and coke. She always is so sweet to me as well!"

"Horrible experience! The bartenders switched shifts and the guy that came in had an personal issue from the past with one of the girls we were with, so he told our whole group that we had to leave “his bar” and then called the police on us and told them we were refusing to leave! We were not! We only asked him why he was kicking us out and we wanted to finish our food and drinks that we paid for. Needless to say, I’ll never be going back here again. This bartender was on some kind of power trip. I’ve never been treated like that at any restaurant or bar and they definitely lost us as customers!"

"Been going here fairly regularly since I moved down the street and the staff is always friendly and willing to have a conversation. Their special on Wednesday and Friday is unheard of and the food is actually good. Wednesday is burger day $5.99 for burger tots and a beer. Friday is a Petite Sirloin steak, Baked Potato and side salad for 8.99. Go check it out."

"This review is strictly on their Wednesday night $5 Beer+ Burger Basket. A beer and burger w/fries for $5 is such a great deal I had to try it out. The Getaway is a sports bar and grill and that’s exactly what you get when you walk in. Plenty of TVs with sports playing, pool tables, dart boards, and friendly regulars (atmosphere 4⭐️). Our service was excellent, they had 3 servers working the floor and at least 3 bartenders. They were super friendly, very attentive, and had all of our needs met throughout our meal (service 5⭐️). The price is of course going to be 5⭐️, it’s such a great deal, but besides that I ordered an additional drink before the meal and it too was well priced (and our server was very knowledgeable of what beers they had on tap at the time, which was refreshing) They also offer a list of signature drinks to try, and I surely will the next time I visit. Now the food… I went in not expecting much for $5, these days you don’t get much for $5, so my expectations were low. I was very pleasantly surprised! The burger was big! Well seasoned, cooked perfectly. For $5 it’s a plain hamburger (w/toppings), but you can add cheese, bacon, avocado, mushrooms for an additional charge (I added cheese to mine). It was delicious, seasoned, good char, Juicy not over cooked. The fries were crispy and well seasoned. They also came with a solid fry sauce and I asked for ranch on the side as well. I went with my vegetarian moms and they had no issue preparing her burger with all the fixings plus mushrooms and avocado with the burger on the side. She ordered the tots which we’re also crispy and well seasoned (another 5⭐️ for service). I will definitely be back for an inexpensive, delicious, and filling meal with great service."
