"Only purchased Hoffman Boots for 10+ years but the quality has disappeared and the customer service is even worse. Purchased a $440 set of 6" Hoffman Meindl San Ramon's and loved them. Purchased my second pair and got less than a year out of them but liked them so much, I purchased them again and got 2 months out of these. Almost $1k in boots in just over a year and they wouldn't return my calls or emails. The worst part about them is they sell Hoffman Boots by the boat load to broke trade school kids, without a care to honor their warranty. **I would also like to note they delete reviews from their website if they're not good. I left a great review from the first purchase, left a mediocre review from the second that were on their website for years. Once I left a bad review on my third purchase. They deleted all reviews."

"I went to the store and was blown away by the staff. They dropped what they were doing (making US made boots) to take care of me and fit their product to my feet for a rebuild my set of boots. I've worn their products for years and they're the real deal. They are honest people that use their own boots to hunt in ID. The Italian made boots look nicer than the kenetreks and crispis. The pack winter boots are the best snow/winter boot I have ever worn"

I was able to leave with my new boots and best of all the two dogs at the store were the best. In an age where the internet is the primary shopping experience going to this shop in Kellogg is worth the trip. Thanks also to the lady back in the manufacturing area for doing such a great job today. I will be back again in the future."

"My husband took his HOFFMAN boots into their store for repair which they had originally said they could do a complete rebuild when necessary. A couple weeks later, I picked up the boots and they looked like garbage. They charged $120.00 for the repairs and then wouldn't stand behind the repairs when the boots started falling apart (with mild use) less than 3 weeks later. They made multiple excuses and didn't even want to help my husband when he attempted to get the situation rectified. We have always tried to support local business, but will purchase the next pair of boots elsewhere."
