"Not recommended!!! I went to the one in Emmett. Spicy chicken smelled like dog food and didn't taste good. Steamed "vegetables" was almost pure cabbage with hardly anything else, so pretty disappointing. Rice was okay, but it's rice so how can you screw that up, right? Cashier girl was very nice which is why this gets two stars instead of one. The dude cooking looked angry, and I don't like it when an angry-looking person is preparing my food. Had to try the place, but will never go back."

"I went here 10/5 at 3 pm, and I had the most incredible service. I wanted a bubble tea and told the woman working that I can’t have milk, and she made my drink dairy free. The taro bubble tea is delicious. We had a nice conversation that we were both engaged in, it was a lovely compared to most places where staff can be rude and short. The cook seemed very kind as well. My food didn’t take long and it was fresh and steaming hot, not to mention delicious. It’s a little spendy compared to other fast food, but absolutely worth all the money. I always love going here, but I am beyond satisfied with this visit. Will be coming back again soon!"

"I thought by ordering a year later in 2023 things changed, I guess not. Dump and go is the new norm.. .like I had the plague or something...delivery person was driving off while I was waving for them to come back while standing on my porch with neighbors watchhing.. just to make sure my order was correct...I will never order again from happy teriyaki and will let the community know about their services and dis-satisfactory food.. the city buffet is way better!! 2022, grilled prawns for my first time.. for $5.95.. thought maybe 10 or so. But got only 5. Wow I can buy a whole bag of shrimp for around $7.00.. and grill them myself... no soy sauce with order either.. was told "you need to ask for that when you place an order" upon calling..this is my 2nd time with bad service.. first time didn't say anything but now very frustrated.. won't be back for long time. ."

"Got there at 8:45 and they gladly took our order and cooked the food fresh even though they were cleaning and getting ready to close. Bigger portion than other places, I had some left over for lunch! The chicken teriyaki is probably the best I've had in Idaho so far."

"These people can barely understand or speak any English. Have poor customer service skills when it comes to any conflict or issue. Best to save your money & do not order from this location specifically. I ordered delivery & they sent me 5/6 of my items. Meaning one of my items had not been prepared & sent with the Doordasher. When I had confronted them about it they couldn not understand anything that I was saying & refused to give me a refund or my Orange Chicken. Order Beijing Restaurant or Emmett Cafe. Support Locally instead of corporate. Overall an unpleasant experience with this company. They tried to blame the door dasher for the reason as to why my Orange chickens was not received. Save your money & your time. DO NOT ORDER FROM THESE PEOPLE. On a side note. There food is over priced & not that great."
