Reviews of Buy-Rite Auto Salvage
"Nice guy, went out of his way to help me then gave me an excellent price. Even trusted me to bring back a rim, so I could have the tire tonight. The rim is going back tomorrow! Thanks"
"Great local yard, too bad it's being squeezed out by the big guys and the economy, don't forget to shop local"
"this guy always thinks your stealing stuff at his junkyard cause it takes me 30 minutes to climb up into a falcon to carefully remove dash trim...i had to unscrew it as well...it took 10-15 minutes alone just to do that, then i walked around the other 2-3 falcons nearby and was looking for parts..should i maybe use a jetpack to fly around the yard and get out in 5 minutes so he wont think im stealing? lol..... @ N. Rodriguez..i dont care what he's had issues with you don't be rude to your customers cause you've had issues in the past..and really respect is earned? so in other words be rude to me until he trusts me? thats no way to run a business.....i was respectful to him..if you are afraid of parts being stolen close down! i know someone else personally who's went here too.. that didn't write a 1 star review....says the same thing me, and the other 2 guys are saying...you're out numbered 4 to 1....that tells me something's up. also he probably isn't mean to you cause he knows you over 10 years.....it isn't right to treat strangers and newer clients rudely...classic car parts and scrapyard or not, imagine any business treating its customers poorly and rudely if they were new..... i personally take offense and insult to be implied that i'm stealing when iv'e never stolen in my life! update: his lie about '' that falcon going to the scrapper '' must be his one liner...i asked about parts of course he told me to hurry and get parts before it goes into the scrapper! ''..this of course 4 years ago...i just drove by this place and i could see into the far back..White falcon is still sitting there.....yep hurry up and get them parts!!!! its going to the crusher!! 4 years later......"
"Del Roy, the guy that owns and runs this place is a really nice guy once you get to know him. He gives respect when it is given to him. He makes most of his money from scraping the vehicles that he has in his yard, and lets people pull parts off the vehicles in between scrap metal pick ups. He has a small collection of classic cars and parts that are getting harder to find, and he is very fair with the prices. I have been buying parts off of him for over ten years now and have NEVER had issues with him. He has in the past had problems with people going into his yard and stealing parts from him and haggling him on his fair prices. This may explain why he is leery of certain types of people he lets in his yard, I would be too. I felt it important to take the time to leave a positive review for him because he really is a good guy that has never been mean to me or tried to rip me off in the ten years that I have done business with him. There aren't many pick-a-part yards out there as there use to be, and there will be fewer in the future. I value his business as well as his friendship and would recommend his business to anyone."
"Not even deserving of a single star but I can't vote lower. The man on the phone was rude and seemed like he just wanted to go back to jacking off in the back. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY THERE!!!!!"
