Accuflo Air Systems LLC

"We called for a diagnosis of our AC middle of june 150+dollars. thomas came and informed us that he tested it and it had little freon in it needed about 6 LBS at around 100.00/LBS. (the unit actually needs 2.5 LBS.) and that it would be 650.00. to have it going cool. we had to scrape but had it and told him to do so. We have cameras all over and saw him running for our hose to “cool” the compressor off (all over live electricity wires as he blew the breakers several times). Thomas came in and said the compressor had to cool. He left on what we thought was a lunch break. At 430 I called amy to see where he was and she said she would call him. She called back and said he would be there by about 6. thomas came back and after an hour he came to me to say that the compressor was bad but he could get us a new one, I told him we did NOT have the money as we are on SSI and spent every penny we had on putting freon in it. He told us that he would get us one at the company cost and again I told him we had no money, he left saying he would talk to amy and mike. It was a few days and a few more calls to get an appointment to install new compressor in 1 week. We had an elderly lady(MOM) we were trying to keep cool and the heat was taking a toll on her. 1 week later thomas came and installed the newer compressor and for3 days it worked good. After 3 days the ac was pushing 75 degrees out of the vent and the compressor was really hot to the touch at 165degrees (thermo temp gun) I shut it down and we were told it would be another week for someone to come by. Altho not the total cause, moms health went south and we put her in the hospital. We waited for thomas to fix it and he worked on it and said it was empty because of a valve he replaces (shrader valve) he filled it and I did not see him check the temp from the vents (I was near the 2 most accessible ones) he told be he was done and left. The temp was nice and kept the house cool for 2 days. I called amy and she said it would be next week BUT thomas MIGHT be able to drop by tomorrow (friday). She said they were booked solid and could not do anything until MIKE, the owner came back from vacation the next week (1 WEEK!). This weekend the temp will be in the 100's. Ironicly, they took the 200.00 (authorized, we gave them 450.00 cash also) out of my account the day my mom died. This is the worse customer service as we feel they are avoiding getting it done right when there are other customers paying them. Accuflo was recommended to me by a trusted friend and even he is pissed!!! I have always been nice and patient (I did swear once 7-13-23 on the phone with amy (not at her) but now this is beyond comprehension of a business handling customer. Tech even left the compressor and the valve he replaced!!!! they did not call or come today so after 4 times of trying, I am posting this."

"These HVAC guys are amazing. Custom fitting old to new, coming out in snow and ice that is breaking records in Spokane. Installing in record time because of freezing conditions, beating their own estimates on time. I think they were just working above and beyond because I am from Texas, where "cold" is anything below 50 degrees, and I am freezing while visiting my daughter. They are so thoughtful of the people they serve, as well as competently completing the installation of a new heater unit. I can recommend these young men without hesitation. (They are installing central air in the spring, too!)"

"I called Accuflo at the referral of a friend and wasn't too impressed. Our AC pooped out in the middle of July, and we completely understand how many other unfortunate Spokane residents suffered through the same thing so we were really understanding of the fact that it would be a few days before before someone could come out and take a look at it. My husband is who dealt with the technician who came out and he was supposedly nice enough, gave us a quote for fixing the unit vs. replacing it, which was great, the price was awesome! We called the office to get situated with a contract and the lady in the office said she'd call me in a few minutes to get my email once she could find out what brands we had been quoted. 2 days later, I had still not received a call back so I called and spoke to the same woman who said she was trying to track down the technician who had done our estimate because she couldn't get a quote or contract drawn up without the product information, but she would call me as soon as she knew. Well, it has been 2 and half MONTHS since that call and I have yet to hear back from Accuflo. In that time, our AC and furnace have been replaced by another company (for a better price at that), and I won't be recommending Accuflo to anybody anytime soon."
