"I read all the great reviews and was looking forward to trying Cafe 95. I found myself walking away feeling underwhelmed. First impression, simple decor, welcoming and clean. We were met by the hostess, with not a hint of a smile and a flat, "how many?" and led us to our table. Not another word. The waitress arrived, and she was nice and provided good service. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and hash browns. The sandwich was hot and tasted ok. The hash browns were cooked crisp but served luke warm. I will visit again sometime and try the lunch menu. I believe in second impressions more than first."

"We have eaten here several times with the hope that it would get better but no such luck. The service is terrible. I had to go up to where the waitresses are to get a different drink because the coffee doesn't agree with me. They only came by our table once to check on us. They messed up my food order again. I'm not terribly picky but would appreciate getting what I asked for. The food isn't as good as before. We will not be going back."

"After reading all the reviews for Cafe 95 we were so looking forward to giving it a try. We had the chance this past Saturday for breakfast. Sadly, the restaurant did not live up to the reviews we have read. For starters they had a very bad fly problem. I'm not talking a few here and there but a full-on problem with many many flies. People at the table beside us were trying to swat them with the menu. As for the venue, it was clean and open and bright and the staff were busy but attentive but the flies were just too much. We should have tried the patio as there were probably less bugs out there. When it come to the food, we were very disappointed. I had the Haystack, which was biscuits and gravy with eggs and hashbrowns. It looked fantastic but was pretty bland. My wife had the chicken fried steak and she wasn't sure if it was steak or ground beef formed into a steak. The steak had a gristly texture and was very off putting and not all consumed . The poached eggs were ok but the hollandaise sauce was again bland. Our daughter had the Chairman sandwich (she's not much of a breakfast person) and was put off by the flavour. The half inch thick cut cucumber didn't help at all either. I can't put my finger on the flavour profile for the sandwich but it was just odd. They were advertising for a cook when we got there, so it's possible there was some turn over that could attribute to the experience we had verses what others have experienced."
