"Phillip, at the Warrensburg office, is beyond outstanding! He’s professional, informative, kind, honest, and personable. Takes the time and effort to answer questions without hesitation. If it wasn’t for the fact that I like and trust my optometrist in the Sedalia office, I’d certainly change over to Warrensburg office in a second! Kudos to such a wonderful employee!"
"My family has always had great experiences with the Warrensburg and Lee Summit offices. The staff is always friendly and helpful no matter the situation. Dr Hardy does a wonderful job at putting you at ease. There is no doubt she takes the best care of her patients possible. She will use all resources to ensure her patients receive the best quality. Thank you Dr Hardy and team!"
"Took over 3 months and still had no contacts. They kept “forgetting” to order them. I wanted a full refund, they only refunded the contact portion, so I couldn’t find anywhere that would give me only a contact exam thus leaving me to have to pay for another exam since this place could not get me a contact prescription. Loved the doctor, but the front staff was atrocious. Despite my patience with the nonstop mess ups, they still didn’t right the wrong. I spent over an hr on the phone and over 2 hrs including all the times I had to drive in to deal with their mistakes, yet they still refused a full refund. Thankfully I found another doctor that thought that was unacceptable that they had done that and did a discount exam to make up for the mistakes of this place even though he didn’t have any obligation to! So thank you to Dr. Cottle in Lee’s Summit for helping me out in the financial burden that was placed on me by this place."
"I went to Eyecare Specialties about a year and a half ago, for quite some time I've been using homemade glasses that work good, but I wanted nice professionally-made glasses. Bifocals is what I should have, so that's what I was trying to get. The ones I got from Eyecare were very wonky, the glasses I got were so bad that I couldn't even use them as readers, I ended up ordering some stick-on readers to make them where I could at least use them for reading. I went back and demanded my money, but they could fix them. But they didn't fix them, they're as bad as when I got them, terrible except now I have stuck readers on them to improve them, I can at least use them for reading, but they sure wouldn't be the first ones I would go to. Trying to use them to drive or do about anything is almost impossible, they're very wonky and they're not right and I told them that, I wanted my money back, but if they could fix them with the right lenses that would have been great, but that's not what happened. They took the glasses back and supposedly sent them to be worked on, but I don't think they did anything to them at all, I think what they did was just handed me back the same wonky glasses in a different box. So when I was sitting down to have the glasses adjusted after I had got them back, the woman there never handed me anything to read or look at so I could test them to see if they were ok, by this time I'm so frustrated I just took the glasses as bad as they were and just left, I didn't know what more to do. I wish I could have got my money back or they would have fixed them, but here I have glasses that the only thing I can do is use them for readers because I stuck on stick on readers so I can at least use them for something instead of just looking at them sit there on my filing cabinet and collect dust. Perhaps they weren't qualified enough to understand someone who has a little bit different vision in each eye. They could have done much much better but they didn't. My homemade glasses work better than the glasses I got from Eyecare. So after I got those wonky glasses from Eyecare I knew if I wanted new ones I would have to make my own if that was the best they could do, so I ended up going to Walmart and buying two different kinds of reading glasses from off the shelf which were $10 each, 20 bucks. Popping out one lens from one pair and popping out another lens from the other pair of reading glasses to make the proper prescription for my reading glasses. If I could make my own reading glasses that work a million times better than the ones I got from Eyecare then why couldn't I get a decent pair of glasses from the professionals that are supposed to know what they're doing. It still makes me very angry every time I look over and see those professional glasses I spent a lot of money on, and they ain't no good. I've made homemade ones that work better. I'm very upset that they didn't try harder to get it right. Darren"
"The staff here is topnotch! My husband and I went in for exams and ordered new glasses yesterday. We both saw Dr. Kelsey Starman, she was very thorough, polite, and friendly, as was all of the staff there. This morning I realized I had forgotten I had an insurance wellness mastercard that had dollars on it (for qualified purchases like eye glasses) that I could have used to pay for part of the balance. I contacted the office asap and explained the situation. Even though it was my mistake, they were able to find a way to use my card and have a refund check mailed to me. They saved me several hundred dollars and I'm very grateful to them for taking extra time and effort to get me a refund. Several years ago, before I was a paying customer, they replaced the nose pads on my eyeglasses at no charge when one broke after we moved to Warrensburg. I definitely recommend this office!"
