"Very nice nature place to walk through. A few spots to sit and just watch. A flock of geese were on the water. Nice little hike and educational centers around how the water gets to the tap."
"Very lovely place to go for a stroll or to fish. They advertise a great place for bird watching, too. The terrain is not paved to walk, but it isn't too rough."
"You can stay on the paved path or you can go on the trails which do have hills as well as roots and rocks on the ground but is it a beautiful hike. Dog friendly."
"Plenty of room here to spread out and get away from the crowds. There's some sidewalk for all ages, but most of the trails are uneven with endless rock and root tripping hazards, along with numerous elevation changes. Not to be discouraging, but just be aware. Much of the trail is shaded and there are several benches along the way. There are are also restrooms available."
"Very beautiful; paved & unpaved trails, with plenty of water access to a pond & a creek. Very nice scenery with picnic tables for a nice family setting. Great place to take your dog for a wonderful walk & a cool dip in the creek!!! Nice walking bridge & this area usually has a nice breeze blowing. Took our "cheagle" dog (Shadow) out there & he had an awesome time; got a lot of exercise. We frequently visit this beautiful, peaceful, & serene park. One of the nicest parks in Springfield, MO to visit."
