"What a blessing it was for me to have found this place as a student! I got the opportunity to work with Elizabeth who guided/mentored me to become the psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner that I am today. I had the pleasure to work here after graduation and what a breath of fresh air this practice was and still is. The owners/leadership team are always listening to any feedback/ideas/concerns that I have and would implement changes that I suggest almost immediately if they are able to in order to improve patient care when appropriate. I have never felt more valued as an employee. IPC is always trying to improve so that it can serve patients in the best way. All of the providers here are kind and passionate about their work. A great place to work at and to be seen as a patient."
"TLDR: I go to Inspired for my therapy appointments and medication management and cannot suggest or praise them enough!! Everyone I have interacted with there is great, helpful, attentive, and responsive to my needs. I'm in the best place I've ever been, and I wouldn't be there without them (but you gotta make sure you're putting in the work too, no provider has a magic wand (yet)). Michael Nobo is a fantastic therapist- providing really thorough treatment planning and well-prepared, structured sessions. He's really great and flexible at meeting my current needs in sessions if we need to spend some time deviating away from interventions planned along the treatment plan. SUPER knowledgeable- I cannot express that enough- and looks at the holistic picture to address my needs (ex: suggesting beneficial vitamins, nutrition tips, etc. that help address my mental health needs beyond the basic interventions and medications). Elizabeth Hills is an EXCELLENT psychiatric nurse practitioner and takes the time for me to feel seen, heard, and validated within my medication experience and moving forward accordingly. My past psychiatrist at a different organization made me feel rushed in and out of the door, and that is certainly not the case here. She is really knowledgeable and helped get me on the proper medication regime. I was able to share how my meds were working and adjust accordingly OR making a plan to adjust accordingly because some mental health meds are not something you should always expect immediate effects from. It's so nice to have my input and experience being taken into account regarding my medications, and she is really open to using that to tailor my plan/regime. Huge shoutout to Kristi Thomas, a student that was working with Elizabeth and is starting full-time employment there soon. She is literally the best. Take everything I said about the above people and apply it to her. She has been integral to my transformation and betterment since I started seeing my providers at Inspired, and I would not be in the place I am without her or the rest of the team. Definitely check out the providers at Inspired- I'm in the best and most sustainable place I've ever been because of their help and guidance (make sure- as with any provider anywhere- you self-advocate, be honest, and consistent with their recommendations. No provider can wave a magic wand and correct what's going on- but the people here will get you to where you want to be if you do your part)."
"I really love this practice. I began working here in the summer of 2023, and was overwhelmed by how lovely the providers and staff are. The culture behind the scenes is incredibly supportive; the providers I've worked with spend their time helping each other and doing their best to give the best care possible for their patients. I feel like I've learned so much from Elizabeth in my time working here; both through her direct guidance, but also just watching in the ways she interacts with patients. She's gentle, kind, but firm; she's very intelligent in everything she does, and she has a deep and profound impact on the patients she helps. I feel this way about all the providers here; working here given me a deep respect for the people who work in mental health, because it isn't easy, but it is very rewarding. I've also seen the impact our Spravato clinic has had on patients involved, I've gotten to talk to patients after a few months of treatment, and hearing them talk about how the medication and care they received here has changed their lives was very humbling and heartwarming. Mental health is not an easy field. Providing care to people in need is not easy, but it is deeply necessary, especially now, and I feel lucky to work at a place that I believe is trying to do it right."
"Elizabeth is a wonderful Nurse Practitioner and was very detailed during our time together. She was very educated on medication and therapy. I would highly recommend her to all of my family members. and advise to i consider their mental health an importance in any stages in their life to make an appointment. She went above and beyond in her ability to follow through with check-in visits. Adjusting things and adding clarity in follow up's was amazing in education for me, the patient. I feel I can as a patient now move the needle on my health with Elizabeth's support. She was a key component working with me and dialing in my care has been the best with IPC."
"I've been going here for 2 years and I'm really seeing the positive impact the folks here have had on my life. Everyone at this office I've encountered has always been timely and kind. I especially wanted to acknowledge how amazing Glenda and Elizabeth are. I loved Glenda's approach to our sessions; she always tried to engage me in activities that capture my interests while addressing some difficult topics. Glenda has always made me feel so comfortable and truly felt like my advocate when I couldn't be one for myself. Speaking to Elizabeth was always enjoyable and felt like talking to a friend. She has such a calming demeanor and presence. I still use the resources she's recommended, and many of the things we talked about still resonate with me. Elizabeth never made me feel rushed or unheard. If you're on the fence, just give them a try. I hope you'll have the same experience, because having people to celebrate my mental health achievements with me is something I'll never forget."
