College Park Family Care - Olathe

"I'm going to start with Dr Young! One of the worst doctors I've ever had. He literally does nothing for you, doesn't even bother to examine you, does not wanna stay in the room more than 60 seconds and asks you what's wrong and you say I hurt my elbows and one of them is getting worse I feel like I something happened to my muscles or feel like a bone ache. Did not even bother to look at it or order an xray to see if anything is fractured or broken, or if there are any bruises or swelling, NOTHING....gave steroids and sent me away. I went back with the same problem, again no examination of any kind he said he'll give me a cortisone shot and it should take care of it. Came in with a small needle and injected into my forearm muscle and left . The problem is in my elbow. Never seen a cortisone shot given into your muscle when your elbow is killing you. Of course that didn't work. He is HORRIBLE! Second issue, INSURANCE! I changed my insurance and asked them at the desk ,showing my insurance card , if they are in network with them , she said yes! Took it made a copy of it and put it in my file. Before I made the appointment for the 3rd visit, I asked again to make sure they take United Healthcare, she said YES, so I went. When Dr Young failed and sent me to a orthopedic doctor, I asked AGAIN, if they take my insurance, they said YES, again. I went and a week later I get a phone call from them saying they DON'T WORK WITH UNITED HEALTHCARE! Sent be a bill for $460 .... I'm so done with this clinic. Nobody in here does their job right!!!!"

"We've been patients with College Park since 2004. My son has gone there since he was born. Just because he's been healthy and hasn't gone to see them for 3 years, he's a new patient. Which comes with higher fees. This practice has shown us too many times they are not interested in your health, they are more interested in your money. Just stay away, unless you need a drug pusher, then this is the place for you."

"Watch your billing. My husband had a preventative colonoscopy and because the Modifier billing code was not included in the billing code on the statement, we were overcharged $1862. Working to get it corrected."

"I was recommended by my Coworker to try this Drs office. When I arrived for my appointment, Jasper was amazing she helped eased my anxiety & explained what my appointment was for. Dr. Young was great, made me feel welcome, lIstened to my complaints & concerns the best part was Dr. Young took my thoughts & past experiences into consideration. I would recommend Dr. Young."

"I attempt to pay my copay at every Doctors office at the time of service. I came to this location two times and each time I was told I didn’t have a copay (my insurance card says $20 copay). Guess what I now have $40 in collections because they wouldn’t let me pay at the time of service. I would avoid all College Park locations, not just this one."
