"I cannot say enough great things about Dr. McCann! She is super sharp, took what I had to say seriously, listened, and believes that patients should be seen IN PERSON, not via telehealth for pediatric GI issues requiring a specialist referral. My daughter was able to be seen in her office within two weeks of calling for an appointment after my daughter’s pediatrician sent an urgent referral out for GI, whereas Children’s Mercy’s first available in person appointment was FOUR MONTHS out but they could see her via telehealth - no thanks. Dr. McCann wasn’t shy about ordering tests, and I feel confident that with Dr. McCann’s expertise, we will get to the bottom of my daughter’s chronic battle with GI issues."
