"My kiddos call this the "bear park.". The newer pickleball courts and the hidden play area is super fun for littles to larger kiddos. Just with many park locations, the water and bathrooms are offline through late fall and winter, so plan ahead for restroom and additional water needs."
"Nice small park, tucked away a bit. Lots of open water, there's a creek that runs through it, so watch young ones. The bathrooms are closed during the winter months so plan for that. The fountains are off too, but we did have some young entrepreneurs try to sell us water."
"93 degree heat index too hot for the kids to have fun at the park? Not at Ward park where there is SHADE! SHADED rope tower, SHADED climbing tower, SHADED bridge, SHADED play cave, and even a SHADED bench for the parents. Thank you Blue Springs!! Pictures taken at 3pm on a HOT summer day."
