"Park with playground. Dog park is across the street. There is no specific parking for the dog park, and no street parking directly in front of the dog park. You may have to park in the block of the playground to park legally. I saw no signs of homeless issues within the dog park."
"Great hidden gem in KCMO. It generally is a well kept park with a waking path and play area for kids. Not many parks have swings in downtown, let alone a water fountain. The fountain also has a bowl for dogs which is nice, and across the street is a dog park. View is spectacular of downtown, and will be interesting watching the East side come back to life from this parks view of downtown."
"Too many extra large tents of homeless- 8 person and maybe above size. Some look like actual buildings just out of tent material"
"So I just want to say something to all the people talking about the homeless at this park . You obviously have no idea that this park is here for the children who reside at the family shelter directly across the street. You have no right to judge these families or the child who play here. SHAME ON YOU"
"Would be decent if homeless folks wouldn't sleep or hang inside the play area meant for kids. Plus on every bench there was a homeless person on it, even the grass! So it's kind of weird being in a park and there is not a single child."
