Dr. Ghosh Harrison Pediatrics 1418 Mccoy Drive, Harrison, AR 72601

"I have taken my niece once to this doctor. Her mother takes her all the time, but from my experience it's not so bad and we did some research on pediatricians so for anyone finding this information helpful to make a better decision here it goes. We found that dr.ghosh thus far has not received any payments from pharmaceutical companies for prescribing their drugs to you. What does that mean? These tend to be newer, name brand only drugs which are very expensive. There are often more affordable, equally effective generic drugs available. Your doctor could be prescribing that particular expensive drug because the pharmaceutical company is paying them to do so. Of course recent information I have found about this was for years 2013 to 2018. So from 2019 up until now there has been no information on that yet, but he seems like a good doctor unlike others that we have found who have made a buck doing this while others like Dr. Ghosh has not. I'm not sure about the other review saying it's about money I wish there could have been more information on that subject, but there is not. She lacks information on that part. Please people do your research this is just the research I have done. While he may seem cold he seems to be more of an honest doctor not driven by money or else he would have been on the list of prescribing more expensive name brand drugs so he can get paid by pharmaceutical companies. He is prescribing based on his decision alone and not swayed by cash. There are other pediatricians who have been paid a pretty penny doing this which I will not name, but I can for sure say that this doctor is not one of them. Just make sure that you do your research and go for a pediatrician that wants what is best for your child and not their pocket."

"This is dr. Ghosh's office. When I first started at dr. Ghosh's office I really hated it. I mean I really hated it. It has grown on me so I'm not as resentful towards it now but I will tell you why I didn't like it. dr. Ghosh is a pediatrician who does not have a pediatrician office it is very cheesy looking in the general sense old posters of Disney characters from probably my childhood and very few toys it's not very inviting it's kind of a cold atmosphere the receptionist when I was first there was worse to probably cuz she wasn't happy I'm not sure how Dr ghost treats his nurses. The girl he has now though if she still there at this point is so nice really great nurse. She helped my son take medicine when nobody else to get him to take it and she has a really good personality. I just want to let everybody know that my reflection is not for the nursing staff. The nursing staff is relatively good except I feel like the office or possibly the nurses aren't always the fastest to respond or get referrals in. My biggest problem was with dr. Ghosh at first mainly because I felt that he was very Stern and kind of scary to talk to. Now that I've got to know him more he doesn't seem so cold so it might get better but I do want to warn people that dr. Ghosh a very serious person and he is pretty blunt. Also there are quite a few language barriers there as I feel like his language is really still rough in English I don't know about Spanish but I do know that they see a lot of Spanish people so he may also speak Spanish. I'm just going to throw this in here because to me it matters not because I'm racist or anything of that nature but because I just like to know who I'm going to see I'm pretty sure dr. Ghosh is Indian his first language isn't English and that's why his English isn't very good. The reason why I'm going to say that is because I also feel like that also is what gives such a cold manner to the office. I think that he has gotten better either by Strengthening is English or perhaps he has gotten more accustomed to how people are around here. I don't know his story all I'm going to say is that I give the office a 3-star rating because dr. Ghosh has always given me the referrals I ask for. Even though I will also say that he wants to see my son a lot he doesn't make phone calls or talk to his patients ever over phone he insist you come in every single time. To me that is the single most upsetting thing about his office I could deal with everything else but I do not like that they insist every single time to have you come in because sometimes you just have a question. You should be able to call your child's doctor and ask them a question without having to come in. I get their time is valuable and they don't want to spend all day on the phone but they could get back to you or email you or so many of the things that make you come in and schedule things and reschedule things just to ask a question. This is my single biggest problem with this office. It is way too centered in money. I think everyone should be able to be aware of this before they choose this doctor because it's hard but he does take our kids they seem to be able to get me in whenever I need to come in. So I guess you have to weigh it out we're okay here right now we're doing pretty good I will also say that my son is really scared of dr. Ghosh. It's really hard to be a pediatrician and children be scared of you. he does now talk to dr. Ghosh now that he has gotten used to him for a while but I know dr. Ghosh used to scare him and he did not like to interact so it also cause it to be very hard for Doctor goes to view how my son really is."
