Reviews of Rolling Acres Pet Memorial Center
"My childhood dog died in a very tragic way, and after everything we went through, we paid for a clay paw print, an ink print of his paw and nose, and obviously his ashes. All we got back were his ashes, and a bad clay paw print. I understand that mistakes happen, but this is the loss of a lifelong family member for us. I would never recommend someone to get their loved one cremated here because they obviously do not care enough to provide their services with care and respectfulness, if they even decide to provide the service you paid for at all. Please go elsewhere. Don't let this business ruin the memorial of your loved one like they did for us."
"My vet uses this company for cremation services. The day we took my dog in to be put to sleep, I got an email from this company while we were in the euthanasia room. We hadn't even seen the vet yet! It hasn't even been 24 hours and I have already received 2 emails and a text message reminding me to pay them. My vet doesn't even ask for payment on the day of something like this! I am also horribly offended that this company is making money off if the highly priced memorials they sell. $26 for a pawprint? $20 for a hair clipping? What a slap in the face. It really stung to receive such a money grab shoved in my face literally as we were saying goodbye to our dog. No compassion at all."
"Yesterday was the hardest day of my life. I was so nervous about my horse being picked up because they aren't exactly easy to move. They showed up right on time but waited for me to come to them and tell them I was ready. They used his name and pet his forehead and they treated him with such care! They were so caring for my boy and I was so happy that they didn't show up to just get the job done and leave. Compassion was used every step of the way and I will get to pick him up in only 2-7 days! They took so much stress off of my shoulders. I am so grateful!"
"Recently my cat Emma passed. We used Rolling Acres through our vet to do the cremation as we have with all our fur babies. I opted to have the clay paw print made, as we have with previously. I am so very sad at the quality of the paw print we got back. Her paw is barely pressed in, you can’t even see all her toes. It’s in the middle of this huge chunk of plaster, which would be fine for a dog paw but not a cats paw. I’m glad I have something, it’s just not what I was expecting."
"I lost my princess, Penny, on Friday, August 11, 2023. My first family pet who was with us for almost 13 years. She was just a couple months old when she came to our home. She grew up with my kids, who are now 13 and 15. I didn't know that it could hurt this much to lose a fur baby. I am absolutely heartbroken but between Picture Hills Pet Hospital and Green Acres, I received an unbelievable amount of support. Green Acres worked seamlessly with the pet hospital to pick up my princess. Green Acres set up a final viewing to say good bye and was offered so much hospitality by Karen while I waited for Penny's remains. I waited for a couple of hours but was able to select the urn, a personalized engraving, and reminisce / grieve for my pup. Karen directed me to a waiting room where I could make phone calls and catch up on some things and spent some nice quality time just talking to me. She listened and cared to hear about Penny. I cried and laughed and could not be happier that Karen made herself available to talk to me. I left with a personalized urn and couldn't be happier to have Penny back with me. I also received a ceramic paw print, which was also engraved. Thank you for the kindness and grace you showed me. Very well done. Far exceeded my expectations and have me done of the closure that I needed."
