"Dr. Rajesh Banderudrappagari is very knowledgeable Oncologist and is genuinely caring and concerned for his patients. I have stage 4 metastasized kidney cancer and he has made my traumatic experience as good as one could in my situation and thanks to him I've not given up because he's has not. The world needs more Doctors like him. If you are going through cancer Dr Banderudrappagari (Bande) is who you want."
"I don’t know if I have enough room for this review. I have been seeing a hematologist for over 6 years now to monitor my b12 levels because they are excessively high, well over 6,000 pg/mL and one time was well 13,000 pg/mL. My family has extensive history of cancers and other issues and I also have a GI disease which is why they’ve been monitoring my levels. When I first met Dr. Banderudrappagari he asked me why I came to him if I already had a Dr. I told him it’s because I moved and my other Dr. Is now 3 hours away. He said the only reason my B12 levels are high is because it’s an indication of future cancer and he didn’t need to see me until I started showing symptoms of cancer. I had never in my life been told this. Before he told me this I had mentioned my thyroid was swollen and I had symptoms of thyroid issues, hair loss, weight gain, trouble swallowing etc, he said none of those are symptoms of a thyroid issue and told me it was age related. I’m 31. He then asked me if anyone in my family was obese and I said only my mom had experienced weight issues and had her thyroid removed and which was a reason for the issue. He said that I’m prone to obesity and need to cut carbs and exercise more, I’m not anywhere close to overweight, I’m slim and had gained 10-12 pounds. Wouldn’t do a complete thyroid panel only ran the tsh and didn’t even check my b12 levels while I was there. I have been seeing doctors my entire life for my Gi disease and have never in my life experienced such outrageous treatment or been insulted by an incompetent human who calls himself a doctor. He continued to insult me during the visit and talk to me like a child. I called and tried to file a complaint and was never able to do so. I did get a call back and was told someone would call me but it’s been almost a month and that has never happened. I do not recommend this person to anyone. To tell someone to come back when they get cancer symptoms instead of trying to figure out what could cause a cancer he says is going to happen is asinine, incompetent, neglectful and malpractice. I foresee lawsuits in his future. I also give Cox Health a one star for not taking care of this person and reprimanding him. Unbelievable."
"Dr, Bande was wonderful with my late mother. He talked to us like we were humans and listened to our concerns and my late mother's. He answered our questions and took time with each visit in the hospital to answer any questions we had or my mother did."
