"My taxes have always been straight forward so I have done them myself in previous years. This year I decided to have my taxes done by a Jackson Hewitt tax professional inside the Pittsburg Walmart. I was very disappointed to say the least. She overlooked simple tax credits that would have cost me thousands of dollars! I actually had to school my tax agent on this tax credit because she acted like she didnt believe me. She ended up having to get another agent in remotely to walk her through this simple tax credit. It was not worth my time or any of my money because i should have stayed home and done them myself! I called the customer service number and was transferred to the Joplin MO store and spoke with someone about getting a refund. She stated they cant give refunds until my taxes come in. She stated that she could make a ticket up on my account so when they come in they can review it then. I was not comfortable with that reponse and called back the next day to talk to someone else. I was transferred again and was told same thing and that they dont give full refunds unless they mess up taxes. Well it most certainly would have been a mess up if I hadn't notified my tax preparer of her mistakes that would have cost me thousands! I am in high hope of a full refund, and hope they remedy this like a good business should."

"We probably won't return next year. Our preparer was not professional, she got aggravated and threw her mouse, her keyboard and she was very slow. We had a 12pm appt and it was 330pm before we were finished. My spouse and I both feel the charges were way over priced. $$$"

"I have been getting my taxes done with Jackson Hewitt for the last 3 years. I kept returning because Patty Fletty is the best. She took the time to get to know me. She remembered my children always made sure to ask how they were doing. She always made sure to be personable and I love that. I trust her 100% with my tax information. The reason this review is so low is for the fees!! Every year they increase. I don’t feel valued as a customer. I hate that I feel like I have to find someone else as good as Patty to find because the rate is now over $600.00. When asked for a discount it’s only $80. As a working mother,teacher and faithful customer it’s a little shorthanded."
