Providing a place for horse owners to get off the road and feel comfortable leaving their babies behind with someone they don’t know is not easy but when horse hotel owners like Kelly show care and concern it makes traveling with animals easier! "I had reservations here to board my daughters horse, on the way threw st Louis her truck broke down, at 8pm. I called gateway stables not sure what I would do next. They came and rescued us !! Wonderful people! We live in Minnesota, but if we were looking for a riding stable, I would not hesitate to give them my business"

"Literally the most rude and unprofessional experience, and we didn't even set foot on the ground. I called in advance to inquire if my child could come see the horses, and do a pony ride. I was told yes and to call when on the way. I even said we will head there in an hour or two. The female when I called the second time was so horrible to me she said well I am the only person here and I have not even started my morning chores. She was border line yelling at me. I just said oh I must have misunderstood you when I called earlier. She continued to speak rudely to me shouting are you coming or not. I said ma'am it's okay not a big deal. She started to speak again rude and I just hung up. I wish she would have been honest the first time I called and not waited till my daughter was dressed and in the car excited for her first experience with horses. Bottom line I am happy I did not end up going, I would not have wanted her poor attitude and unprofessionalism to ruin an excited child's experience."
