"BlueSky was excellent. From the beginning of my mom’s flooded basement Dylan took care of us. The workers that came out were so nice and friendly, that makes such a big difference these days. Dylan was always available if I ever had any questions or concerns. I will definitely recommend BlueSky Thanks so much."
"This company was sent to me by my insurance company to provide an estimate for repairing my deck railing that was damaged in a hail storm. The person who showed up clearly had no experience with the type of work that was going to be required to repair. However, I provided him with enough information to assist him in providing an accurate estimate. After I finally got to review the estimate (they initially didn’t even provide me a copy, had to get it from insurance company), it was evident they didn’t do any research on what it would actually take and therefore cost to complete the repairs. Had they done a more thorough investigation they would have discovered that the railing I had was no longer available from the manufacturer and the repair they had estimated was not possible. There were other inaccuracies as well, all of which I pointed out to the company and requested they provide a more accurate estimate. They refused , stating all jobs have unforeseen issues that arise during the repair process and they would simply send my insurance company a supplement. I know that this can occur but these were issues that were obvious and known before any work needed to be started. Why would anyone want to do business with a company that operates like this. Would you hire a company based on an inaccurate estimate whose attitude was they would just adjust their bill as they go?? What if my insurance company refused to pay for the additional cost? I would then be stuck to pay the difference. It would have taken this company an additional 15 minutes to determine that the repair they were proposing wasn’t possible but all they saw was a way to obtain some business with a low estimate and make up the difference after the job was already started. Very unethical in my opinion and I would avoid them if I were all of you!"
"BluSky Restoration Contractors are most reliable and helpful when dealing with a flood in a multi-family building. The crew is professional and friendly and gets the job done efficiently no matter what time of the day or night it is."
"Horrible experience. Our job should have taken only 6-7 months to complete, ended up taking 15 months. Horrible craftsmanship. Had to complete job myself because there carpenters were to incompetent to complete the job themselves. Constantly delayed the project. Current update. We have been living our home for a little over a year after BluSky did fire restoration on it. This is what our basement bathroom currently looks like after only one year. Horrible work....Do NOT use this company"
"Received a phone call from Mr G***** & he was very adamant about taking a restoration job. First he tells me that he’s too busy to give me an estimate! He was very aggressive & he asked me why was I taking bids when “he” can do the entire job & work with the insurance company for me. Just didn’t sit well with me. I have never hired a company/ contractor without a prior bid! He told me that the only way he would meet with me is if I made a commitment to him (as in giving him permission to take the job WITHOUT a an estimate)….uh no thank you!!! I politely texted him letting him know that our phone conversation was NOT a commitment! It’s bad enough that I have to deal with a disaster but to have to deal with this type of contractor is not good. He’s too busy to give me an estimate so that means you’re too busy to do the job right? No thank you sir!! And these reviews speaks volumes!! Needless to say I will not allow him to force me into a contract and this is not acceptable behavior! I hope someone monitors these reviews because this is sad."
