"Give your business to someone else!! My family & I bought a home and decided to strip a previously reglazed tub and resurface it rather than replace it. We've lived in military housing for years and know that a reglazed tub (done correctly) is beautiful and just as durable as a replacement. Jackson's mission statement says all of that....BUT.. the original resurface and reglaze didn't go well, there was water leaking through the roof on the floor below when he was working. He tried to rinse out a tub with no drain in it (drain was removed for the job). He was completely unapologetic about causing another issue in our home. He didn't even want to see it! Once he left we let the tub sit for a whole month before using it. It was rainy season and we wanted it to cure COMPLETELY. When we did start using it, it was only 3 months before it started chipping. The job came with a 3yr warranty so I reached out to Mr. Jackson and was ignored for a whole month. When I contacted him again and finally got a repair date he gave me a 60 dollar travel charge... 60 bucks to fix a job he didn't do well. When he came, I expressed my concern about having issue after such a short time and not wanting a money pit, especially when I took very good care of the tub! No chemicals, no suction footing, no nothing but regular use. He looked at me and said "I'm here. I'll do the repairs but I don't know what you want from me...it happens!" He was cold and rude. I said I didn't want to pay the travel fee again if the tub needed fixing after this, and he gave me grief about travel time and told me he has to charge me. He ownes his business. He sets his radius. Then makes me feel bad for it? And makes money off getting to me - I'm not a whole tank of gas round trip. I sat and let him finish the job, wrote a check, and he drove off... leaving a big oil stain on my driveway from his leaky SUV... another thing to take care of.. I like giving my work to small business owners! But in this case - find a different small business if you care at all about being treated like a person. Mr. Jackson is unprofessional, and mediocre at best. ...... Reply to Mr. Jackson's reply: Any professional tub technician knows the drain must be removed for a strip & resurface job to be done properly. If you don't you'll: 1. Have buildup around the drain and it will be the first place to peel back because you can't resurface a previously resurfaced area without stripping... & 2. You can never replace that drain if its glazed over (like he preferred) because it's essentially fused to the tub.. If your saving an old tub, like I was, a rusted drain is not uncommon. I removed the drain to prep the tub as asked. And Mr. Jackson knows a drain is essentially a big screw. Screwing the drain back in place for rinsing takes less than minute, he just chose not to out of spite. Mr. Jackson refuses to take credit for any mistakes and wants to be lash out toward someone who paid $430 dollars to make an old tub look nice and stay nice when used. On that job he failed. He had the opportunity to make it right and chose to charge me for it. That does not warrant HIM a good review. He didn't offer to discount for my ceiling repair, nor did he even clean up his mess.. He is now publicly complaining about not getting a tip? This all further proves my point. I was polite and direct the entire time. I didn't hire someone to stroke their ego on my dime, I hired out a job. If Mr. Jackson believes my initiative and necessary use of a warranty to be "rude", he is unfit to handle human interaction."
"Top notch company. Lynette is very helpful and friendly. 10/10 would recommend."
