Tanyard Creek Nature Trail

"This is probably my favorite little trail area in Bella Vista! The trail has a few options for routes and sections where one can take path A or B. There's a lot of creek-side trail, a suspension bridge, some pristine "beach" sections, some nice rock walls, and of course, the waterfall. There's also a picnic area under a covered shelter, clean public restrooms, and a good deal of signage. The area is dog friendly, runner friendly, and does connect to some bike trails too. And if you hike a short distance up from the trail, you can visit the lake that runs off to create the waterfall!"

"One of my favorite places to hike that is close by. Winter turns it into a winter wonderland with snow covering the rocks and icicles everywhere. The trail is well marked and there’s plenty of parking. Sometimes the restrooms at the parking area are open, but not always."

"I had a great time hiking along the river to the waterfall. This is such a great area. Lots of fellow hikers. Not a long walk to the waterfall. Doable especially if you stay on the path. There are areas to rest on the way if need be too. Very beautiful area. My first stop in Arkansas and I'm loving it."

"A little urban oasis. Beautiful trails even in the rain. Loved the little information placards spaced throughout as well. Trails are easy, even in the rain. Obviously a very popular spot because they even have "additional parking" marked though the parking lot is large. I wouldn't want to go on a summer day, but the weather when we went was poor so we got the place to ourselves."
