"This is a really cute restaurant but the burgers had 0 seasoning and 0 flavor. The bacon had more flavor than the actual burger. However it was very fresh and homemade. It cost us about $40 for 2 meals. It was definitely over priced especially when it had 0 flavor. Everyone was very nice we just wish the burgers had flavor. The shakes were amazing and the fries had the perfect crisp and was seasoned well."
"The atmosphere was great! It gave you a small home town feel. Like, i could envision kids gathering after a football game for burgers and shakes. The burgers were in my top 5 for non chain burgers so far (won't say here my number one). The hand cut fries needed salt and my wife and I normally don't add additional salt to our fries. Actually, until last night we never have. The hot fudge brownie was pretty good, just not enough brownie. Overall, we enjoyed this cute historic Dairyette, and will go back again for little date nights."
"been here only twice and the first time was good, nothing overly exciting. went for dinner tonight per pregnancy cravings request and i was incredibly disappointed. my husband ordered the frese burger, wanted fries and drink with it, but the cashier said that it didn’t come as a combo (even though the menu clearly listed the price for just the burger and for the basket) and rang the fries and shake up as separate items, making the total cost of his meal alone almost $7-8 more than it should have been. i ordered the pizza burger. it was awful. hardly any flavor except the marinara sauce and it was accompanied by cold fries. i hear such good things about this place but i don’t get the hype. we unfortunately won’t be back"
"We were in town and decided to stop in because of all the great reviews and I just have to say, those reviews didn't do Barnett's justice. The burgers were cooked perfectly and the veggies were crisp and fresh. We loved it. And their shakes were insane! It was real ice cream and fresh fruit. We will definitely be going back."
"Talk about memories from days gone by. I experienced it today at Barnett's Dairyette . Now, things have changed a little since the first time I was there in the seventies, but since June 3nd 1957, they have remained the same, which is great quality & quantity meals . It was differently a trip down memory lane shared & enjoyed with my husband. I loved sharing that my sister & I came here because we didn't have a lot of money & we could share the hamburger and fries because they were huge . Lots of fun going down some memory lanes !"
