"Replaced a non-working dishwasher in my rental. Model they replaced it with was obviously rebuilt and came with a lot of "special" instructions for it to work. Less than a 3 years later, with scraping plates and the top of the line Cascade Platinum detergent in use, the dishwasher is not draining, filling with nasty water, not closing without a fight and the seals are leaking. Subpar. Would not recommend."
"I'm so surprised to see bad reviews for this company. I can't rate my experience with A&L Appliance Repair more highly. They were dispatched through my home warranty to fix an issue with my dishwasher. I'd already had two people out from a different company who did not fix the issue and were extremely unprofessional. With A&L Appliance, they call you the day before to give you a 2 hour window, and worked with me to find a day I didn't work so I could be home. The woman I spoke with, Liz, was very nice and professional. The last company I worked with gave me an 8-5pm window with no contact number to call. The technician was very professional and nice. He very quickly diagnosed a problem that 2 other people before from other companies weren't able to fix. He then outlined exactly what the next steps would be and said if they weren't able to fix it they'd get me a new dishwasher. I received email alerts for when the parts were ordered/arrived that aligned with the estimation the technician gave me. When the technician came out with the new part he was again extremely professional and was able to fix the dishwasher very quickly and cleanly. He even fixed an issue with the display that I was told by the guys before was "impossible to fix because they don't make those anymore". I'm so happy with every aspect of this company! Thank you!"
"Have used A&L twice in the last year. Once for clothes dryer and once for dishwasher repair. Appointments were easy to make. Technician arrived within the time stated. Professional and polite. Fixed dryer a year ago and it's been running fine since. Dishwasher recently needed parts. Said it would take a few days and it did. Called back to follow up. I don't agree with the other feedback. Would definitely use them again."
"Well, where do I start? We bought our home and with it a home warranty. We weren't able to use all the settings on our dishwasher. We called the home warranty company and they referred us to A&L. A&L called to "make" an appointment. They called the day before they would be out. Told us that they could come some time between 10:00 &1:00. This was a problem for since we work. They wanted us to take time off work to meet their technician. This was out of the question especially since we weren't even given a 24 hour noticed. I told them that any time after 3p.m would work for us, Liz( part owner of the company) became very rude and short with me. Telling me that I HAD to work with her schedule. I told her to call back later. Long story short, this went on for weeks. Finally the technician came to the house, only after a miscommunication with Liz and the schedule. He looked at my dishwasher and told me he would have to order a part to fix it. He was at my house for a total of 10 minutes. This was three weeks ago and I still haven't heard from them. I can't understand why Liz was so unwilling to work with our schedule especially since the technician told me that she could . Absolutely no customer service here. If you have a choice, choose another company."
