"My mom was in hospice care for 24 hours as she was passing. The overnight shift did not check on her at all. We would go out to the main area, and they were covered up in blankets watching tv. Her hospice nurse from another facility was there until 2:30 in the morning, and the nursing staff never came in. I finally went out there after the hospice nurse left and asked for the pain medication that she was supposed to get every half hour. The nurse came in gave her her meds. I asked for her to check her heart. She did, and then turned to me and said yep its beating. Just no respect for anyone passing. I will give praise to the 1st shift. They came in and did everything for her. I would never leave a loved one overnight there alone."
